    Wild Horse 200

    Wild Horse 200

In this episode, we are thrilled to bring you the incredible journey of a married couple, Krista and Guy Alderdice, who recently competed in the Wild Horse 200 that started on April 5 in South Wales, Great Britain.

This grueling 200-mile ultramarathon through the stunning Welsh countryside is not for the faint of heart, but together they took on the challenge and emerged victorious.

You may recognize Krista and Guy from their UltraRunning.com column, Blue Collar Runners, which highlighted the stories of everyday people accomplishing the extraordinary.

Join us as we discuss their preparation, their experience on the course and the lessons they learned along the way.

Get ready to be inspired by their determination, their perseverance and their love for each other and the sport of ultrarunning.

    Kati Laan

    Kati Laan

Kati Laan joins the show during a previously recorded live broadcast from the San Francisco Running Company (SFRC) in San Anselmo, California, where she competes on the SFRC Running Team. Laan recently nabbed a second place female finish at the HURT 100 in Hawaii.

She joins us to give us a breakdown of that race and a look back at her first female finish at the San Diego 100 last summer. We also talk about her upcoming races at Canyons, where she’s currently signed up for the 100k distance, as well as Cascade Crest 100 this summer.

Quick note, unfortunately, Kati was dealing with a terrible feedback loop in her headset during the livestream, so kudos to her for enduring the auditory meltdown and sticking with it.
