This week, the Wankers were joined by former Everton player, and scouser, Alexandra Keaney, in an effort to broker peace between Tottenham and Everton. Steven and Andrea get to know Alex better (2:00), and discuss her current career as Technical director and coach for Downtown United. This week was jam packed with fixtures, starting with Champions League (20:20) which did not disappoint. Between Chelsea's major comeback, Tottenham actually winning and Kyle Walker suiting up as keeper, there was never a dull moment. Premier League (36:40) is currently in shambles, but at least we have Sheffield United vying for that Champions League spot. The European leagues were wilding (45:00), MLS Cup is rapidly approaching (49:00), and the first Ladies North London Derby takes place Saturday the 17th of November (52:10). Steven and Andrea record a super short and sweet minisode this week to gear up for massive upcoming fixtures and surprise travel plans! Listen is as they still go in on people who compare stadium attendances for the Superbowl vs. the MLS Cup, Alexis Sanchez' new film, Eden Hazard shocking everyone, and Jurgen Klopp bringing the salt. Player of the week? So very clearly the black cat at Goodison Park. Andrea is ecstatic over a Son game winner to give Spurs another 24 hours in 2nd place, Liverpool are bottling it, and Man City score a lot of goals, the EPL remains a faithful companion. The FKWs also go over results in La Liga, Ligue Un, and Bundesliga as well as a dabble in US Soccer. Eric Wynalda continues to defy the odds, and Timmy Weah is literally doing it for the boys in green. It's a World Cup year, so bet your bottom dollar the Wankers will be discussing women's soccer in female intended play in every single episode. You're welcome. Just when you thought Tottenham Hotspur fans around the world could rejoice in defeating Chelsea and Inter, within mere days, the North London Derby comes around to deflate tater tots everywhere. The Full Kit Wankers had a little Derby of their own, with first ever repeat guest, the most Gooner of goons, Sean Swift rubbing salt in our fresh wounds. Is Pogba (like Mourinho says), a virus? Is Alexis Sanchez ok? What is it about Lyon that throws Pep's Manchester City off? Are man buns to blame for lack of success? All of these pressing questions answered, as the Wankers and Sean dive deep into the seedy underbelly of Champions League Matchday 5, Europa League, the Prem, Bundesliga and La Liga. Listen to a once favorite segment: "Coach Watch 2018" depress into, "We Have a Coach and Things are Still Bleak for US Soccer". Gregg, (with two Gs) Berhalter has been named US Coach, and we haven't been this excited since Wondolowski missed that goal in 2014. MLS Cup playoffs are giving Andrea something to dream about, with the Wankers rooting hard for Saverese's scrappy Timbers side.
