Tony Myshlyaev is an underwater photographer and freediving instructor who lives in Koh Tao, Thailand.

Born In Ukraine and raised in Canada, Tony’s Love for gymnastics and skateboarding was the driving force behind a water current that led him towards a life of travel and photography. At The age of 24, he left for a backpacking journey through South-East Asia where he found the famous Koh Tao – island of Scuba diving. Tony has spent the past 7 years training and perfecting his passion for diving and photography which has helped shape the man he is today.

In today’s episode with Fruiting Body Podcast, we talk to the man behind the lens and chat about Tony’s earlier years, what it was like growing up in Canada and how skateboarding became an important influence in his life. He talks us through his journey from working at a FedEx to becoming an underwater photographer and freediving expert.
