God is faithful and God protects. These are two commonly known attributes of God’s character. But have you ever considered that God’s faithfulness is just as rooted in His power and ability as much as it is in His track record? And have you ever considered that God’s protection is just as rooted in His justice as much as it is His love and mercy? In Psalm 33, David calls for the assembly to sing praises to God for His faithfulness to them and His protection over them, citing God’s power, ability, track record, justice and more.
