033 – This just might be a little controversial...
What did Paul really mean when he wrote, "Your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost?" (1 Corinthians 6:19 KJV)
In this episode, I get into some nitty-gritty grammar and a tiny little detail most Bible translations miss that completely change the meaning of this favorite verse.
It all has to do with what the words "you" and "thou" mean.
There is something much grander going on in this verse than most Christians realize. Paul wants us to see the big picture instead of just thinking of our own individual faith.
What if everyone who believes in Jesus could appreciate all other believers instead of judging and condemning them because of differences of doctrine? All too quickly we start adding doctrines and theological demands on what it means to be a Christian.
What a difference it would make if all believers would respect and value all other believers, regardless of doctrinal differences? The world would feel the difference overnight.
