S4E22: The Parable of the Dishonest Manager

S4E22: The Parable of the Dishonest Manager

In this episode we discuss the parable of the dishonest manager from Luke 16. Within an apocalyptic context, the parable is quite simple and straightforward. The dishonest manager responds wisely in light of his own future judgment, whereas the “sons of this age” (v. 8) respond unwisely with their “unrighteous wealth” (v. 11), spending it on that which does not lead to “eternal dwellings” (v. 9) in the age to come.

    Accepted As I Am

    Accepted As I Am

Jesus is salvation. Salvation for all. Accepted just as we are. Jesus’ fellowship is good news of great joy. Jesus came from the heart of the Father in grace (that is underserved favour) and truth. He includes all who are willing. With Zacchaeus, a rich oppressor who is excluded by the community, transformed by the love and grace of God in saying yes to Jesus. Jesus sought him out, called him by name and abided in his house and ultimately his heart, just as God promised centuries ago. As you listen be blessed, empowered and transformed in Jesus’ name!

    The 2nd Coming. Luke 16-17

    The 2nd Coming. Luke 16-17

The word of The Lord reminds us to always be faithful a few things, that more will be entrusted to us.

The word says, rich men have always valued the earthly possessions more than a relationship with the Lord.

Like the one Leper, who was cleansed, we should always give thanks to our Lord for what He has done for us.

Music by Scott Holmes, Corporate Uplifting(intro and outro).

Theme music by Dee Yan Key, Winter is coming, Adagio, (First Snow)
