Season 3 Episode 10 - Leveling up! With Brian Earhart

Season 3 Episode 10 - Leveling up! With Brian Earhart

The guys invite local player turned touring player turned DGPT commentator Brian Earhart to the show.... FINALLY.  They go through the entirety of his jam-packed disc golf career, from 2018 to the present.  Brian gives us an in-depth look at what it was like as a new touring player scraping by to get to the next event, how his relationship with other touring players helped shape his career, his continuing relationship with Discraft, and is current gig with DGPT.  He also talks about overcoming mental issues and what has helped him to look so excitedly into the future.

Sean is in FULL Clash at the Canyons mode, and Alex cannot wait to start Clash golf-cart duty.  Ryan reveals his obsession with parmesan-garlic fries, and Jason is OVER the 'Glizzies' craze.

Season 3 Episode 9 - 'Adam Ryan for President' with Adam Ryan

Season 3 Episode 9 - 'Adam Ryan for President' with Adam Ryan

The CAB has become the default hang out for the guys as they bring in special guest Adam Ryan of 'Park'd for Parks'.  He proves to be a wealth of knowledge about bringing people together to work for a common goal - that goal being course and community improvement.  He gets into his approaches to working with parks departments, getting community members (even non-disc golfers) excited about volunteering time, and where the organization is heading in the not-so-distant future.

Alex is back to his old AWESOME ways while Sean fights the afternoon-nap crash.  Ryan is excited to meet his yearly movie quota in a matter of 2 days, and Jason is FURIOUS with the function of freeze-pops.

Season 3 Episode 8 - 'Bawesome' with Chris Sprague

Season 3 Episode 8 - 'Bawesome' with Chris Sprague

Settling in to their now regular spot, the CAB is again fully loaded and the guys bring in long time professional OG disc golfer Chris Sprague.  His experience with the game is vast:  over 100 career wins and over $100k in total earnings, course design prowess with the famous Camden II under his belt, a slurry of disc golf related mini-games, and more than a few practical jokes up his sleeve.  He talks about his days competing against Ken Climo, what it was like to go on tour before google maps, and all the talent the touring young guns have.

Sean can't believe he has to explain what mystery packs are, while Alex tries to stay away from a word he thinks he uses too often.  Ryan explains why you shouldn't meet your heros, and Jason has.... once again... if you can believe it... found the GREATEST MOVIE OF ALL TIME.

Season 3 Episode 7 - The Mad Scientist of Disc Golf with Mike Strauss

Season 3 Episode 7 - The Mad Scientist of Disc Golf with Mike Strauss

The CAB is the location yet again for the guys as they welcome Mike Strauss to the podcast.  A disc golfer for over 28 years, Mike has taken to the study of form and conditioning.  He has provided the disc golf world with an endless source of training and coaching, and shares with the guys an overwhelming amount of disc golf info, and even took the guys out to Callahan Acres for a few before-the-podcast lessons.  He gets into the motivations for his passion for the sport, and dives deep into some of the common issues that disc golfers face with the physical and mental aspects of the game.

Alex shows up to the recording with that swagger, and knows it, Sean gives a sneak peek into Callahan Acres and the progress made on the new course, and both Ryan and Jason are in full cool-dad mode.

Season 3 Episode 6 - Hey Ladies 3: Further down the Lakeberg

Season 3 Episode 6 - Hey Ladies 3: Further down the Lakeberg

Once again recording from the CAB, the guys bring in the GALS for what has now become a welcomed tradition with the 3rd rendition of the Hey Ladies episode.  Lauren Lakeberg, past guest of the show, stops by to discuss the newly minted Dellwood Magazine, and what it took to get things assembled.  Sheila Callahan, now officially the shows producer (!) is also on hand joined with Amy Laskowski of Birdie Babes to talk about their successful running of the 2nd annual Beltane women's tournament.

Sean is seeing his dreams of a bathroom with a 4 person shower come to fruitation, while Alex gives us a description of his own purgatory nightmare of a spare bathroom situation.  Ryan has been testing the longevity of the Dellwood magazine with spaghetti sauce, and Jason can't wait to get that inferno of a bucket hat off his head.

Season 3 Episode 5 - 'We ARE the Little League' with Clayton Beilfuss

Season 3 Episode 5 - 'We ARE the Little League' with Clayton Beilfuss

The guys are surrounded by animals in the CAB (Callahan Acres Basement), as they bring in the rooster himself, Clayton Bielfuss of the Skulls Disc Golf Brotherhood.  He brings to light a recent and particularly unfortunate interaction with a particular local parks department concerning a particular beloved disc golf tournament.  They all discuss how important the relationships are with our disc golf courses, land owners, parks departments, and local communities and what can be done in the future to form a better bond for all involved.

Alex is surprised and impressed with Clayton's meat, while Sean gets deep into dumpsters.  Ryan explains how tournament financing works and why he's stinking rich, and Jason brings up a deep dark secret story that has to be heard to be believed.

Season 3 Episode 4 - '1000 Rated Friends' with Anthony Guzzo

Season 3 Episode 4 - '1000 Rated Friends' with Anthony Guzzo

Brought to you once again from the Board Room at 933 above Embers TapHouse in Lockport, the guys invite Anthony Guzzo  to hangout,  have some drinks, and maybe give a few life lessons.  He is a life coach, founder of Everyday coffee, the host of the 'Everday with Anthony J' Podcast, and a self-proclaimed rec-for-life disc golfer.  In this Episode, we get into some heavy topics centered around the mental aspect of disc golf, as well as looking inward, self-reflection and self-worth, and how to apply that to the game of disc golf and life in general.

Also in the episode, Alex has had it with trade-show can koozies, while Sean is starting a new venture with some feathered additions to Callahan Acres.  Jason 'can't forget' how much of a JAM the Michael McDonald hit is, and Ryan has too many things to be fired up about.

Season 3 Episode 3 - Are You Not Entertained? with Ali Baig

Season 3 Episode 3 - Are You Not Entertained? with Ali Baig

Showing their aptitude for adapting to any environment, the guys this time holed up in the CAB (Callahan Acres basement).  Joined by a cat, 2 dogs, many friends and some Little Caesar's pizza, they bring in guest Ali Baig of 'Baig of Tricks Entertainment".  The art and nuance of trivia is discussed, and Ali himself hosts a mini-round of trivia.

They also take a trip back to 1993 and dump a bag of POGs onto the table, as well as introduce their own version of a March elimination bracket with a game called 'Merch Madness'.

Meanwhile Sean feels like going back into hibernation, and Alex is preparing to look his freshest once the weather turns.  Jason has had it with wine moms, and Ryan has a run in with kwik stiks.

Season 3 Episode 2 - The Transgender Perspective with Kylie Rotolo

Season 3 Episode 2 - The Transgender Perspective with Kylie Rotolo

The guys are back in their usual digs at the Board Room across from an unusually active 933 above Embers Tap House.  They bring in fellow disc golfer Kylie Rotolo to discuss the landscape of transgender disc golf and what the spotlight meant for FPO player Natalie Ryan during her play at the Las Vegas Challenge.  Kylie shares her personal experience with transitioning from male to female and brings context to controversy that follows transgender players in sporting events.
Meanwhile, Sean sucks down too much hot sauce and Alex invites everyone to his roller skating birthday party.  Ryan's mic decides not to work for a large portion of the episode, and you can take Jason out of Texas, but you apparently can't take the Texas out of Jason.

Season 3 Episode 1 - Athree to Disathree

Season 3 Episode 1 - Athree to Disathree

The boys are back, baby!  From the board room at 933 above Embers Tap house in Lockport, IL, the guys have finally decided they like each other enough to get things back on track for season 3.  Its just the four of them on the mics this time, accompanied in studio by the ever present Sheila Callahan and Lauren Lakeberg.

Discussion meanders through all topics, including what was missed since the end of last season and what can be expected from 2022.   The guys get way too deep into the financials of dying discs, and ask for help from the Honorable Judge Jason.  Sean takes the lead on analyzing this year's uDisc course stats and the top 10 courses in the world.  Alex talks fight club, Ryan likes girls, and Jason tells us about the new GREATEST SHOW OF ALL TIME.

Season 2 BONUS Episode - TWANty TWANty TWO with Uncle Twan

Season 2 BONUS Episode - TWANty TWANty TWO with Uncle Twan

Located back at 933 above Embers Taphouse in Lockport - the guys finally decided to do a bonus episode and wrangled your favorite Trinity Shed-lifer and this year's Delly Emcee Anthony 'Twan' Rodriguez onto the mic.  Twan settles down with his 4th or 9th ol' fashioned (who's counting) while they all bask in the afterglow of the Delly's and what made it such a magical night.  They introduce the new putting league 'Hellwood' and what we can all expect from the new Hells Gate Haunted Mansion venue.   They also get way deep into a mailbag question about the new disc golf contracts floating around.  Alex is surprised, but not shocked at an hours worth of fart sounds, Sean looks to Sheila to help keep his body together for the upcoming season, and Jason gets overly aroused at a peek under Ryan's shirt.   (warning: explicit language was not censored in this episode)

        Season 2 Episode 15 - Season Recap

        Season 2 Episode 15 - Season Recap

The boys gathered back at the Barn at Callahan Acres for the last episode of the season.  They reminisced about Season 2 ala the style of the Season 1 recap, going episode by episode while Jason kept a timer going just to be able to cut Alex off whenever possible.  Sean delved deep into his diary once again, while Ryan actually may have briefly felt emotion during his fired up.  Alex smelled blood in the water, and Jason couldn't wait to tell us about the... wait for it... BEST instagram account of all time.

The guys return to the barn at Callahan Acres to welcome special guest Ryan Aquino of Disc Golf Digest.  They discuss his involvement with the disc golf world - playing, photographing, filming, even writing for the DGPT.  They also get into Ryan's time with the band 'Starter Kit', and his life now as a proud dad.  Sean won't shut up about the Dellys, Alex has a serious hankerin' for some good old fashioned teen wizardry.  Ryan can't understand why no one will take his money, and Jason can't stop name dropping his best friend Dave Grohl.

Season 2 Episode 12 - 'Shootin' the Schlitt' with Dan Schlitter

The boys are back at 933 above Embers Tap house in Lockport IL for the first time in weeks.  They get real good and comfortable with some fancy drinks and bring in the first repeat guest in the show's history - the notorious Dan Schlitter.  Continuing right from where they left off in the first season, the guys get deeper into Dan the person and the player - his sponsorship with Discraft, highlights from his victory at Clash V, and they even sling some unwarranted marriage advice.  Sean and Ryan relive their recent trip to the Northwoods and Alex puts his foot down about going to Sandy Point next year, while Jason gives a shout out to our dear friend Fred Lancaster, and adamantly supports kicking duck-sized horses.

        THE DANGER OF INCONSISTENCY!

Consistency is the key to success! God honors a person who is consistent and focused on their goals. It's sad to say that many of us have suffered much loss in life because we have not operated in consistency. This episode is tight, but it's right.

Season 2 Episode 11 - 'State of the Union (Onion)'

How do the guys follow up the live episode?  With some ol' fashioned down and dirty disc golf talk, that's how!  In this episode, the state of the union is discussed and how it is affecting disc golf globally and locally - the growth of the sport, disc manufacturers, technology, and the ever present supply chain issues.   Also, Jason gets all too excited for the new Spiderman movie, Alex whispers about feet-smelling cheeseballs, and everyone is skeptical about cupping.
