    Episode 42 | Hamdardi (Allama Iqbal’s Poem For Kids) | Empathy

    BKK #42: This poem is about the story of a Firefly and a Nightingale, and how the Firefly empathizes with a sad Nightingale and helps her in time of need. 

    Mahwash makes the kids realize that each one of us has been gifted by God a unique strength that we can use to help others. She also tells them that being compassionate towards others is a choice and urges them to think of their unique gifts with which they can make a difference in an individual’s life and their communities.

    Kids learn South Asian poetic recitation style, and Urdu words and get quizzed on Nightingale, Firefly, Empathy, Night, Day, Dark, Sad, Home, Help, Bug, among others.
