US Indictment of Indian National: What Lies Ahead

US Indictment of Indian National: What Lies Ahead

On November 29, 2023, the US Department of Justice indicted an Indian national Nikhil Gupta in a foiled assassination attempt of a US citizen in New York. The purported target is a Khalistani separatist leader Gurpatwant Singh Pannun. This comes a mere two months after Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau accused India of killing Hardeep Singh Nijjar, a listed Khalistani terrorist, on Canadian soil. What does the US indictment mean for relations between Washington and New Delhi? Takshashila Institution's Sachin Kalbag and Yusuf Unjhawala discuss the aftermath (spoiler alert: it won't impact much).

She is the author of The Spirit of Warriors, the children's book Ageno and co-authored three Amazon # 1 bestselling books. She is a co-founder of an organization that brings internet services and computer training to the people of South Sudan. The Spirit of Warriors is a book about how a young woman draws from her experience as a refugee and designs a successful life. The author shares how she spent the first 15 years of her life in a refugee camp in Uganda, and her journey to the United States. She also shares how she survived sickness as a child, sexual abuse, constant hunger, and forced marriage to become a successful entrepreneur. This book will excite, inspire and most importantly help you to truly cultivate the spirit of a warrior.
