William Lee Rand is a pioneer in the world of Reiki.  William is the  founder and president of The International Center for Reiki Training (ICRT), The Center for Reiki Research and The Reiki Membership Association. 

 William’s books and manuals are used by Reiki teachers around the world.  He is also the publisher and editor in chief of the Reiki News Magazine.   William's dedication to the practice of Reiki, his passion to share it with others and a deep connection to his own inner guidance has helped change the landscape of Reiki since Mikao Usui first introduced it in the early 1920's.   

This is a 2 part interview.

I got halfway there lol. let's say the past year has been very different since I first decided to start a podcast, and I needed to put my health, family, clients, and students first while doing the best not to make this suffer, or just put out junk interviews and waste your time.

This episode is from today's Reiki class and is the story of the history of Reiki as a thank you to the thing that changed my life and made August 5th a day I now respect rather than fear.

We are crazy excited to welcome Dannie from the Anime Summit Podcast onto the show this week. We picked a topic we had essentially zero experience in and were extremely lucky Dannie was willing to come on and speak to the Shoujo genre of anime. This week we talk through our thoughts on the Top 2 Shoujo Anime as rated by My Anime List, The Ouran Host Club and Maid-Sama!

Shoujo literally stands for "girl" or "young woman" in Japanese. Therefore it is easy to guess that it is aimed at the readership that mostly consists of teenage girls and young women. The first shoujo magazine ever was published in 1903 and it is interesting that the majority of shoujo artists were actually male. Only after the 1960s did female artists start emerging from the shadows and presenting their works, inspired by the post-war events, American TV shows and female empowerment. - MyAnimeList.com u/FreeNightFalls
