La experiencia en la gastronomía y coctelería de Emilio y Macario o llevaron a crear este lugar que está ubicado sobre la Avenida Juárez en Puebla. La calidad creativa de sus cocteles tiene toda la esencia y experiencia de este dúo, ellos buscan que cada trago tenga la esencia de la región, al introducir algunos licores locales de la zona como Yolixpa, Pasita, Acachul y Ancho Reyes. Algunos de los tragos que puedes probar en este lugar son: ‘Pasita Sour’, elaborado a base del licor de Pasita emblemático del estado, el B 1095, creado por el head bartender, Bruce Maldonado, este coctel tiene un perfil de martini, hecho con tequila blanco Braltos, Yolixpa, estafiate y la llamada flor eléctrica, que ayuda a que tus papilas gustativas se activen para degustar mejor la bebida. David Patrick Valera is a professional artist (photographer/digital-cinematographer/cameraman) based in Los Angeles. “I grew up in Silverlake, CA.” Not the Forbes Magazine hippest neighborhood known for an invasion of Teslas, horizontal wood fencing and lumber-sexuals, but the mid-city graffiti urban grit and grime it once was back in the 70’s-80’s.” A latch-key kid, David would jump on his BMX and ride down Sunset Blvd., slaloming around Hollywood street walkers, hair-bands, and the undesirables through the yet to be gentrified regions of Southern California. “Urban life is a part of my upbringing and I always wanted to document those unique, chance moments I came across during my neighborhood expeditions.” David’s personal projects concentrate on “Street Photography”, which he has exhibited in galleries Internationally and across the Los Angeles region.  He has been interviewed and his photographs has been featured in Lens Culture, Street Photography Magazine, LA Times SoCal Moments, Lenscratch, The Candid Frame Showcase and Art Photo Feature. David is currently an adjunct instructor at Otis College of Art and Design as well as a contributing photographer for L.A. Music Blog and L.A. Record Magazine. This week our guest is Conor McCabe. Conor is a Research Fellow in the School of Social Justice in University College Dublin, and has just released the second edition of his book, 'Sins of the Father: Tracing the Decisions That Shaped the Irish Economy'.

The book is a brilliant class analysis of the Irish economy since the origins of the state, and seeks to give a deep systemic structural analysis to the causes of the crisis, and to help explain why things panned out the way they did. We discuss the Garden Cities of Ebenezer Howard, Irish economic policy and the British Empire, the rise of land speculation in Ireland, an extravagantly pointless Irish hotel, NAMA - the worlds largest property company, which owns all the worthless toxic commercial property in Ireland.
