Germany exit the World Cup at the group stages. Crisis? Yes. A moment of reckoning? Absolutely. Since the World Cup victory in 2014, the German National Team have been on a downward spiral. Questions will now be asked of German talent development and the people responsible. The balance of the team was off (yet again, no clear #9), their best player at the tournament was a 19-year-old (good or bad?)  developed at an English Academy, and their defence struggled.

Clubs grind out wins in lower scoring matches; defending makes its first appearance of the season; Manchester City struggle to live up to their high standards; Jamie Vardy strikes against Arsenal (again); Liverpool march on without Van Dijk; and Manchester United and Chelsea put on a drab display.

Condolences Liverpool fans: Virgil Van Dijk's knee injury may rule him out for the rest of the season. But the pain didn't end there for the Reds as VAR controversially ruled out a late winning goal in the Merseyside Derby vs. Everton. Elsewhere: Manchester City grind out a win vs. Arsenal, West Ham pull off an unthinkable comeback, goal of the season alert, Manchester United respond and Chelsea continue to leak goals..but so do the other "Big 6." AND we finally had a 0-0 match in the Premier League. Snooze.

Simon Jordan, Former Crystal Palace Chairman, went on air to discuss the Premier League becoming their own broadcaster and providing a platform to be viewed as the Netflix of Football - We gave our thoughts and opinion on this topic. Amazon Prime recently broadcasted the first Premier League matches midweek - We give our initial thoughts as well as discussing the Midweek matches on Matchweek 15. Finally, to end the episode we reviewed the upcoming matches on Matchweek 16 with our predictions including the big match between Manchester United vs Manchester City and to make the fixture exciting, we presented our best combined starting XI from both teams.
