The Art Of Nick Walker - "Success Story Of A Vandal"

The Art Of Nick Walker - "Success Story Of A Vandal"

If you’re interested in creative design then you’ll love the guest we have on today’s episode. Nick Walker is a prolific artist from Bristol England who currently resides in New York City.  Nick’s work has had a major influence in the world of contemporary art, more specifically, Street Art. He is credited for being apart of the Stencil Graffiti movement that emerged in the nineties. Nick’s work has been featured in Stanley Kubrick films, The Black Eyed Peas, and many art galleries and museums around the world.  Nick has also collaborated with fashion brands and companies such as Royal Dalton, Sofa, Capitol Records, and many more.

In this episode, we discuss how Nick got into the art scene way back in his teens, where much of his creativity comes from, what inspires him, and what projects he’s currently working on and what he would like to do in the future.

“You can't call yourself a street artist and stay in your studio, put bodies of work together and then have a gallery show you actually, you have to be out there. You have to be on the street. You have to kind of do large scale murals, you know, whenever you can. Otherwise, you know, it's just a facade.” Nick Walker
