Episode 17 - Best Sports Movies

Episode 17 - Best Sports Movies

Ike is the magic and Misty is the talent or so they decided.

We started out talking what the greatest sports movies are and then it turned into 20 hours on Kevin Costner.  Btw- Despite what we say in the episode- Kevin Costner WAS NOT in A League of Our Their Own.  He was not the coach, nor the owner of the team.
But Ike did run into Kevin once on set and plant his face on his chest.

Misty sadly tells how she feels about Fever Pitch despite her undying love of Jimmy Fallon.
    VARSITY BLUES!

And P.S. Matthew Lillard is really like the best human.

InfernoCast 20- Scott Caan talks Hollywood and jiu jitsu telling us his amazing story to Black Belt

Scott talks with Kaleb about boxing as a kid, showing his pops what he was made of, and finding Jiu Jitsu. Amazing story of his rough and tumble start in jiu jitsu and a trip to Brazil that brought him full circle back to his original instructor.
Scott discusses how he loves training BJJ because its difficult and his perspective on success, pushing hard and doing the work no matter what.

We also hear about his grueling blue belt test over 20 years ago and a great story of him introducing Paul Walker to Jiu Jitsu.

His passion for training is very apparent as he talks of his lessons on the mat and telling us how those lessons have transferred into his successful career and the rest of his life.

This episode was a great example of a personal high standard of an over achiever and the lessons he has learned along with principles he operates by.
