(August 20, 2023) Father Charles Persing, pastor of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish, invites us to the story of a Canaanite woman meeting Jesus and draws a parallel between her boldness to ask for help and our spiritual lives.

Jamail Deal (Coach Deal) is discussing the topic of Being a Faithful Disciple for Jesus by making sure that we all worship the Father in spirit and in truth. The truth is we are nothing without God. Coach Deal in this episode is encouraging others to get to know God and learn how to worship God.

Jamail Deal (Coach Deal) talks about the wisdom from the Lord. When we are not sure what to do, we can always rely on the wisdom of the Lord. He wants us to know that the human heart is the most deceitful of all things, and desperately wicked. The book of Jeremiah speaks on how the Lord searches all hearts and examine secret motives, which he then gives all people their due rewards, according to what their actions deserve. We must continue to trust in the Lord and fully give our hearts to him so that we can have confidence that our wisdom comes from the Lord.

Jamail Deal (Coach Deal) talks about the uncertainties of life. When we aren't certain about what is going to happen next we tend to worry ourselves. He wants us to know that God is a God who does all things and through him we will profit when we trust in him through the uncertain times. We must keep our faith, trust God, and pray daily so that we can ease our worries of the uncertainties of life.
