WE member, Sue Breault, joins us to discuss her fruitful leadership journey in the electronics industry at rep firm, Crowley & associates .  Sue is a partner that takes an active role in the sales effort in the organization and also stepped up as Chair of  the Women in Electronics Mentorship Program in its early inception.  Sue's passion for mentorship was fueled by the leaders that had mentored her personally and professionally along her road of development and she attributes experience as critical in our very sophisticated sales channel.  "There's no college course you can take to help you understand and excel in the business." Sue discusses the feedback from the Mentorship Program as being highly effective and valuable for our rising leaders and emphasizes the importance of volunteering as a legacy.  Sue refers to the John Maxwell quote, "The open door policy means more than just the open door. It should mean open eyes, open ears, and an open heart." 

Electronics Representatives Association (ERA) Communications Director Neda Simeonova was introduced to the electronics industry five years ago when she was hired by a 50-year communications veteran to grow with a team of professionals to drive to drive the next generation of marketing for this industry nonprofit, which fosters partnership between representatives, manufacturers and distributors in the field sales and marketing process. Neda is a WE Board Member and reflects with WE President and Founder Jackie Mattox on the impact digital marketing and events have on our industry in terms of connectivity—especially during a pandemic. Counting herself fortunate to be joining the electronics industry amidst a growing female presence, Neda recognizes how the collaborative efforts between the ERA and WE to connect members to personal and professional resources heightens the impact on the industry at large.

WE Member in Highlight, Debbie Martin, talks about her involvement with WE as Membership Chair, with a message to members, "I am asking women to not sit on the sidelines".  Debbie brings her insights and encourages women to be a part of growing the WE organization.  Debbie also talks about her long-standing career in the industry, and her passion for her position in the channel at TDK in an international marketing role. Debbie has a desire to see women flourish, not only in their professional lives in the industry, but in their personal lives as well.  Debbie talks about her rewarding side venture as a consultant at Rodan and Fields to help women feel their best so that they can perform their best!
