Ep169 - Sisilia Tuipulotu - Wales Women, Premier 15s winner with Gloucester-Hartpury Rugby

Ep169 - Sisilia Tuipulotu - Wales Women, Premier 15s winner with Gloucester-Hartpury Rugby

Great to catch up with Sisilia after a whirlwind 18 months or so for her. Winning the league with Gloucester-Hartpury, getting her first Welsh Cap, playing in a Women's World Cup, and being nominated for Player of the Tourn in the 2023 Women's 6 nations. All that, and she's only 20! Quiet on camera, but she makes up for that on the pitch, and I'm looking forward to seeing her career develop in dominating teams for years to come.

Ep165 - Ashton Hewitt - Dragons RFC, The WRPA, Racism, Social Media & Trolls

Ep165 - Ashton Hewitt - Dragons RFC, The WRPA, Racism, Social Media & Trolls

A heavy chat with the Dragons RFC winger about some really important topics, both on and off the Rugby pitch. Ashton is a clever bloke, articulate in his words, and he's using his platform to speak up on subjects that make people feel uncomfortable, but need talking about. On the field he's still after that Welsh cap, and is fighting fit going in to pre-season this year.

Ep161 - Gwen Crabb - Wales Women and Gloucester Hartpury Rugby

Ep161 - Gwen Crabb - Wales Women and Gloucester Hartpury Rugby

Loved this chat. Gwen has a drive and determination to succeed, and absolutely believes in her own abilities. Her outlook is class, and it's proving a good navigation for her - 29 cap's for Wales Women, and she'd have had more if it wasn't for some pretty bad injuries. She's on the rehab train now, after almost back to back breaks/tears, and yet it's not holding her back!

Ep149 - Jason Tovey - Spilling the Tea - Dragons, Cardiff Rugby & Edinburgh

Ep149 - Jason Tovey - Spilling the Tea - Dragons, Cardiff Rugby & Edinburgh

Class chat and followed a different format - Jason only retired in the summer and is now playing amateur rugby, but he had so many questions come up on our Instagram and twitter, we thought we would use those as the basis to form our convo. Insightful, no holds barred, both scathing and funny at times - Here's a lad that's seen it all in Welsh Club Rugby

Ep91 - Nicky Robinson - Wales, Cardiff Rugby, Gloucester, Wasps, Bristol, Oyonnax (And even talk of the Lions)

Ep91 - Nicky Robinson - Wales, Cardiff Rugby, Gloucester, Wasps, Bristol, Oyonnax (And even talk of the Lions)

Loved this one. Having met Nicky recently, he's a good bloke, and I can see why he was so popular with his former teams. An amazing club career, which never quite rewarded him with what I feel he deserved at international level, but no regrets all the same.

Great attitude, took himself out of his comfort zone, and reaped the rewards away from the Welsh spotlight. Successful post career too, which is testament to his intelligence and character.

Ep58 - Ryan Jones - Ospreys, Wales, Lions. Charity, winning, and finding himself,

Ep58 - Ryan Jones - Ospreys, Wales, Lions. Charity, winning, and finding himself,

Recorded this just before Christmas, and it was not what I was expecting. Ryan opens up about wearing many masks, from the Macho Rugby one, to one now driven by a want to be the best role model possible, to those he cares about.

This got deep, but in a relatable way, so much of what Ryan said resonated with my own life, and the many suits of armour I wear too. He's so much more than the Grand Slam and title winning captain, the warrior on the pitch, and the chubby kid from Newport!

Thanks to Links Recruitment, Who Knows Wins, LT Scaffold and Tiny Rebel Brewery
