031 – Has anyone ever tried to get you to do something God told you not to do?

This happens way too often. It's so important to stay faithful to what God tells us to do. but sometimes it's hard.

In this episode, I retell the story of the prophet from I Kings, Chapter 13, who obeyed God until he believed what another prophet said instead of talking to God about it. 

And there were consequences.

Here are some questions I talk about this week:

• What could the prophet in I Kings 13 done to make sure he was faithful?
• How do we stay faithful to what God tells us to do when others try to persuade us otherwise?
• What do you do when a religious authority says the God told them to tell you what you should do?
• How do we develop our moral courage so we will do what God wants us to instead of being influenced by others?
• What is the best way to know if you are following God's direction instead of listening to someone else?
