The White Ferns are back on track. 

After losing their T20 series to Pakistan 2-1, they've handily won the first ODI by 131 runs. 

White Ferns captain Sophie Devine got herself 70 runs and a wicket, she spoke to D'Arcy Waldegrave on Sportstalk.

The White Ferns are well and truly pegging Pakistan back after the visitors made a strong start to their chase of a mammoth target in the opening one-day cricket international in Queenstown.

The visitors are 145 for 2 after 30 overs - pursuing a target of 366.

The White Ferns have lost their first ever twenty20 series to Pakistan at home, after conceding game two by ten runs in Dunedin.

Chasing 138 for victory, New Zealand were 29 for four in the sixth over with Suzie Bates the only top four batter to make double digits.

Georgia Plimmer and Hannah Rowe rallied late with 28 and 33 runs respectively but both were dismissed at the death.
