PWU Latics Podcast - All Together Now
What a terrible start to Warren Joyce's reign as the boss of Wigan Athletic.

Two goals down inside the first six minutes and a display as bad as we've given for a couple of seasons, just what happened there?

A manager must wear a suit. No, he can wear a tracksuit, shorts and socks or even a tutu if he gets the results coming in, what's your opinion?

Will Grigg, just what is going on there?

This week there appears to be more questions than answers.

PWU Latics Podcast - What A Difference A win Makes

PWU Latics Podcast - What A Difference A win Makes
This week's pod welcomes back statman from his trip to love land with his good lady, there is a certain glow about him that can only be described as 'afterglow'.

Chatting about a defeat away at your local rivals isn't always the best way to get an evening of fun underway, but we do our best.

Definitely a game of two parts, part of us went to Deepdale, the other part watched on Sky, same result though, we lost and, despite having the lion's share of possession couldn't find a way through the Preston defence.

A different story on Tuesday though, what a difference a win makes, much more buoyant about the team, well we are out of the bottom three.

Team selection, dives or pens, Perkins, Power and soft goals all discussed, plus the Will Grigg affair!

Brentford on Saturday and the crew give their thoughts on the trip, I must say we aren't too positive about our chances and there was I thinking we'd turned a corner!

PWU Latics Podcast - The Lone (QPR) Ranger
Podcast time again folks, we start off with news about the FAB meeting in September, have your say and apply today!

Extended stats of the Forest game, courtesy of Gareth, Si's Off The Terrace report and Gary Caldwell's ridiculous defending critique give us plenty to chew over, and chew we do.

Tim Chow off? Callum Paterson coming in? Will Grigg withdrawing (or not)?
Vladimir Stojkovic or Richard Kingson, who's bad?

A lot more to get stuck into.
QPR are in town on Saturday, we take a look at the opponents, match referee and odds for the game.

We finish off with a look back at the Olympics in a bit of a strange way. Go! GB, Go!

PWU Latics Podcast - Blackpool Here We Come

PWU Latics Podcast - Blackpool Here We Come
A bumper edition this week as we start with a look back at the Southend game, Gareth's stats and Si's 'off the terrace' report get us on our way before we start to analyse the game.

Will Grigg's disappointment at being subbed on the verge of a hat-trick, Michael Jacobs' 10/10 performance and Chris McCann in the attacking midfield role come under scrutiny.

Refereeing decisions once again are a topic for discussion, this time the ludicrous red card given to Colchester's Joe Edwards in their game with Burton, the card has been rescinded, the game was poised at 0-0, Burton went on to beat the Col's 3-0.

We reveal THREE players for the Joseph's Goal charity game between the Latics Legends and the Dutch Masters and they are biggies.

Massive party and game this weekend at Blackpool, can we win the title at Bloomfield Road? What a party this will be.

PWU Latics Podcast - Bradford Preview
Si's back following a month long trip 'Down Under', oh how he's been missed, anyway we start off with a look back at the Colchester game, definitely two points dropped.

It's taken us 2/3's of the season to climb to second spot, let's not give it up easily lads.

Will Grigg was due to miss two games over the Easter period whilst away won international duty, well we've had word that he is staying with the Latics, bloody good news is that!

Bradford are in town on Saturday, we take a closer look at our opponents and come to the conclusion that they are not really that good, just a League 1 Stoke City, hopefully that won't bite us on the bum come the weekend.

PWU Latics Podcast - Higher and Higher

PWU Latics Podcast - Higher and Higher
Well what can we say following on from what was a great week for the Latics, a superb performance against Port Vale, a 3-0 win and some excellent business, in and out, in the transfer market.

Will Grigg notched his first hat-trick for the club at the weekend, Burton, Gillingham and Coventry all lost, we are now looking good for an automatic spot come the end of the season.

Transfer business concluded, O'Donnell, plus big earners Holt and Cowie leave the club, whilst hot prospects Sam Morsy and Ryan Colclough arrive.

Latics youngsters were unfortunate on Tuesday to lose against Man City in the FA youth cup 3rd round, the game went to extra time and could have gone either way, a super performance that bodes well for the future.

We are off to Sheffield United on Saturday, still smarting after letting a three goal lead slip just three weeks ago the Latics will want to get maximum points here to make up for that dreadful last 15 minutes at the DW.

    Up the tics!
