    Awesome Theological Argument

    Awesome Theological Argument

A phenomenal defence of the Fine-Tuning Argument comes in the form of what Luke Barnes calls the Awesome Theological Argument. This is a response that he gives to many of the objections to teleological/ fine-tuning arguments, so make sure you go check it out.

    What are Fine-Tuning Arguments?

    What are Fine-Tuning Arguments?

Fine-tuning arguments play an important role in natural theology. Instead of arguing from a philosophical lens, they approach the question from science and how probabilities can lead to God.
In this episode, we are joined by Dr. Luke Barnes to discuss fine-tuning arguments and what they are.

    Different Types of Cosmological Argument

    Different Types of Cosmological Argument

Cosmological Arguments is a large category of arguments in natural theology.
Zac and I discuss different types of cosmological arguments and how they help in developing the case for the existence of God. Some of these include the Kalam cosmological argument and the contingency arguments.

The Kalam is DEAD! | A Response to Matt Dillahunty

The Kalam is DEAD! | A Response to Matt Dillahunty

The Kalam has been one of the "introductory" apologetics arguments, and as a result, has been a topic of intense discussion.
Today, I go back into the catalogues and bring up an old video that Zac  and I made a few months back. I felt it would be helpful to share this video with you and hopefully you can find it helpful.

William Lane Craig and Meaning Without God: A Response to Genetically Modified Skeptic

William Lane Craig and Meaning Without God: A Response to Genetically Modified Skeptic

Is Craig wrong on the meaning of life? Maybe.
Recently, I came across a video made by the Genetically Modified Skeptic responding to an article written by William Lane Craig. I found this interesting and wanted to give some commentary on existentialism and also give a few responses to GMS.
Of course, as I have said previously on this channel and in my discussions with Zac, I don’t completely agree with all of Craig’s statements on God and meaning. However, I also find that there are some errors in Drew’s video and I aim to cover them here.

    Ep. 47 - John W. Loftus

    Ep. 47 - John W. Loftus
Welcome back to another episode of A Matter of Doubt! John W. Loftus sits down with us to discuss his deconversion story and then articulates his championed version of the argument against faith called “The Outsider Test for Faith.” John is perhaps most well known for his authorship, but he is also known as one of the few freethinkers that Dr. William Lane Craig refuses to debate. We conclude our discussion as to why this might be so.
Be sure to also check out his blog Debunking Christianity and his newest book co-authored with Randal Rauser entitled “God or Godless?: One Atheist. One Christian. Twenty Controversial Questions.”

    Churchspotting: Watermark Community Church

For this visit, I attended an apologetics conference at Watermark Community Church, a relatively influential and sometimes controversial megachurch that prides itself on conservative theology. This conference was organized by and featured William Lane Craig as keynote speaker, along with Ravi Zacharias, Frank Turek, Greg Koukl, John Stonestreet, and Daniel Wallace.
