Getting your Public Key Infrastructure right can be tricky - and getting wrong can be very bad. Richard talks to Richard Hicks about the right way to go about setting up and operating a PKI infrastructure in your organization. Different from the public certificates you use for websites and servers, Richard focuses on how to use certificates to authenticate and authorize users and devices. Rușii au tras cu o rachetă într-un satelit vechi de-al lor, doar ca să demonstreze că au rachete care pot ajunge atât de sus. Explozia din spațiu a împrăștiat mii de fragmente în orbita pâmântului, crescând cu 10% volumul de ”Space Junk” și punând în pericol viața astronauților de pe stația spațială internațională. Na, digeră asta dacă poți.

În alte știri mai normale, îi spunem rămas bun lui Internet Explorer și vă spunem de ce Microsoft Edge nu este cel mai bun urmaș al acestuia, vorbim despre telefoane cu Android cu doar 18 GB RAM și ne minunăm cum NASA e atât de pașnică de coace pâine și crește căpșuni în spațiu. Aruncăm o privire critică asupra Black Friday-ului din afară și așteptăm reduceri mai mari la gadget-urile care ne plac, și ne gândim dacă facem un LIVE și pe tema aceasta săptămâna viitoare. Voi ce credeți? Merită un LIVE cu Black Friday-ul din afară? Având în vedere că puține din acele gadget-uri pot fi importate la noi în țară.

Does Windows need a package manager? Richard talks to Sarah Lean about Windows Package Manager, aka winget. Of course, there have been package managers for Windows before winget, and Sarah talks about her favorite, Chocolatey. But winget is destined to be a part of Windows itself and opens the door to some great deployment automation. The conversation also dives into exporting - making a copy of the manifest of applications currently on a workstation. Could we get to full local workstation localization, where you could build and re-build workstations on demand? Maybe some next-level hot-desk workstations are possible!
