In this episode, my Boundless Life classmates and I talk about living in Italy: what we love, and what is different from our hometowns.
In today's episode, I'm chatting with my friends, Greg and Rachel Denning of Extraordinary Family Life about expectations in marriage and love. We quickly come to the conclusion that husbands don't get hints. All joking aside, unrealistic expectations are the breeding ground for lots of unnecessary disappointment and resentment.
Our conversation covers how to start becoming aware of our expectations and their effects of our relationship, what to do instead and how to communicate so our partners don't have to guess what we are thinking.
In honor of Valentine's Day, we are working together to bring you a very special bundle which includes the Offensive Playbook Challenge for husbands together with Greg's Be the Man Workshop for one low price. You can check out that deal here: https://offensiveplaybookchallenge.com.
In this episode, Niki and Jack share the story of what compelled them to start their global adventure. They also explain the not-so-novel concept of "world school" and what "schooling" looks like for thousands of families following this lifestyle.
ClassCast Podcast Ep.038 features writer, traveler, and teacher Janet LoSole, author of Adventure by Chicken Bus: An Unschooling Odyssey through Central America. Janet is an experienced world traveler and ESL teacher who advocates for a special brand of homeschooling or unschooling -- "world schooling." In this episode, we discuss what world schooling is, why people do it, what kinds of families pursue the option, and what can be learned. We also address travel, educational freedom, books, and more. If you've ever thought about taking an extended field trip with family -- foreign or domestic -- you MUST learn more about world schooling and how travel can create the curriculum you need to learn everything from traditional school and more. In particular, listeners who enjoyed our recent episode about unschooling with Catina Franklin Sweedy will find a lot to think about in this conversation.
