Given that there was 14 years between the first and second film, we were hoping that it was finished. Why does there need to be more when the first film told a complete story? And will the next three entries be as predictable as the second film was? Yes they will be. Please make it stop.

It's also got a talking raccoon, a character named "Taserface," a David Hasselhoff cameo, and a scene where the main character turns himself into Pac-Man. So excited to share my rich and nuanced convo with Attica and Tembi Locke. I discovered this dynamic sister duo after devouring their Netflix limited series, FROM SCRATCH, starring Zoe Saldana. Once my tear ducts could no longer produce any more tears, I immediately had to find out who was behind this beautiful show.
Tembi is a New York Times best-selling author, TV producer, actor, and screenwriter. Her memoir, From Scratch: A Memoir of Love, Sicily, and Finding Home, is a 2019 Reese’s Book Club pick and NYT bestseller. Alongside Hello Sunshine, Tembi and Attica adapted the book as a limited series for Netflix, which trended in the top 10 globally in 84 countries for weeks on end following its October 2022 release.
Attica is an award-winning screenwriter, TV producer, and novelist. She recently co-created and served as showrunner on From Scratch. Other screen credits include Little Fires Everywhere, When They See Us, and Empire. Locke is also NY-Times best-selling author of five novels: Heaven, My Home; Bluebird, Bluebird; Pleasantville; The Cutting Season; and Black Water Rising.
They are delightful humans, astute creators and I can’t wait to watch their star continue to rise!

James Gunn celebra su breve regreso a Marvel antes de partir a comandar el nuevo universo DC, con una tercera dosis de los Guardianes, llena de su habitual humor pero esta vez con más ternura y emotividad que nunca.
En una saga que basa su éxito entre otras cosas en ese grandísimo cast y la genial química que existe entre los personajes, esta última entrega no decepciona y la verdad es que el equipo titular de Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldaña, Dave Batista, Bradley Cooper, Karen Gillian, Pom Klementieff y (de manera mas tangencial) Vin Diesel están sobresalientes. Además se suman un cumplidor Will Poulter como Adam Warlock, y Chukwudi Iwuji como el Gran Evolucionador uno de los villanos más malevolos que nos ha presentado el MCU hasta el momento.

Comic book expert, Erik Laws, returns to the show to discuss James Gunn’s swan song from the Marvel Cinematic Universe as he closes the book on the beloved Guardians. But will they be so beloved this time around with a more somber, less goofy finale? The Eriks certainly are not on board with it. Wondering why Gunn did not just do the Rocket origin tale on its own, the duo contemplate an elongated pit stop early in the film. The handling of Adam Warlock is a complete mystery and does the central villain fit more neatly into a storyline that understood who He was. Erik Childress has one possible theory on it all while the discussion is filled with disappointment which has become par for the course for Marvel since it delivered its Endgame.
