    Camilla @frkc.lindberg from Sweden is back as today's Sewover50 guest. She's been blown away by the encouraging comments she's received from her podcast in March.  She is now working on her upcoming podcast about the sewing community in Sweden.

    Frk is short for fröken - Miss in English so it’s Miss C Lindberg. I label my work with Frk C/ Miss C.  Fröken is also teacher in Swedish.

     

    Camilla what she enjoys sewing in a really fun way. She doesn't follow rules as you'll hear in this podcast and in her earlier podcast.

    Zoe Edwards is a podcaster with her podcast Check your threads. Have you subscribed to check your thread podcast yet? This is a joy to listen to. I'm sure you're already familiar with her existing blog 'So Zo what do you know. She's always posted her makes, her free patterns and her concern for the environment as well as the highly successful Me Made May each year. Her instagram account also reflects her sewing point of view and makes. In this podcast Zoe says that she enjoys engaging with people about being sustainable with their sewing.

    The Australian Sewing Guild is about to launch #memademonday in October. This is a challenge to showcase what you've sewn while you've been in social isolation.

    Every year a similar challenge #memademay is fairly similar and runs everyday in May.

    The ASG October challenge on the 4 Mondays in October is your chance to showcase your sewing projects on instagram and on facebook. Make sure you note the pattern used, fabric used, any details about the project and use #memademonday and #australiansewingguild. You might enjoy this challenge and take us Memademay next year.  Go on!
