    • Monetizing Bodies and Experiences OnlinePeople are finding creative ways to earn money through unconventional means online, such as selling feet pictures or sharing astrological insights, challenging our perceptions of normalcy in the digital age.

People will find unique ways to monetize their bodies and experiences on the internet. The discussion revolved around a friend, Lauren, who sells feet pictures online and makes a good income from it. This illustrates the growing trend of individuals leveraging digital platforms to earn money through unconventional means. While some may view this as strange or even taboo, others, like Warren, are supportive and understand the potential financial opportunities that the internet presents. The theme of the conversation touched on the idea of normalcy in today's digital age and how it can be challenging to define. Additionally, the group shared their thoughts on astrology and the impact it can have on people's lives. The conversation also included a real-life case from the Ask Docs subreddit about a woman who was bitten by a monkey in the Amazon rainforest and was experiencing symptoms, raising concerns about potential health issues. The group discussed the importance of crucial context in medical advice and debated the use of medical terminology in everyday language. Overall, the conversation highlighted the unique and often intriguing aspects of modern life and the internet's role in shaping it.

    • Interacting with wild monkeys can be dangerousIgnoring medical advice after being bitten by a wild monkey can lead to serious health risks. Always maintain a safe distance and respect animals' boundaries.

Interacting with wild monkeys, especially in areas like the Amazon rainforest, can be dangerous and potentially life-threatening. The individual in the discussion ignored advice from physicians and continued on with their vacation after being bitten by a monkey. This situation could have resulted in serious health consequences, including rabies or tetanus. It's essential to prioritize seeking medical attention immediately after being bitten by a wild animal. Additionally, it's crucial to respect animals' boundaries and maintain a safe distance. The incident served as a reminder of the importance of being cautious and informed when traveling to new places. Monkeys, despite their seemingly cute appearance, can be aggressive and dangerous. It's essential to remember that they are wild animals and should not be approached or interacted with without proper precautions.

    • Misinterpreted Actions at a WeddingActions can unintentionally cause harm or misunderstandings. Be mindful of the context and reactions of those around us to avoid negative consequences.

Actions can be misinterpreted, even if they were intended as harmless jokes. In the discussed situation, a man attended his girlfriend's sister's wedding and, in an attempt to be funny, slapped the bouquet out of her hand before she could catch it. Although he didn't mean any harm, the crowd's reaction was negative, and his girlfriend's mother asked him to leave. The incident left a lasting impression, and the man is still unsure if his actions were acceptable or not. This experience highlights the importance of considering the potential consequences of our actions, even if they were not intended to cause harm. It's crucial to be aware of the context and the reactions of those around us to avoid misunderstandings and maintain positive relationships.

    • Man's disrespectful actions at a weddingRespect traditions and consider others' feelings to maintain healthy relationships. Thoughtless actions can have lasting consequences.

The actions of a man at a wedding, who intentionally stole the bouquet from his girlfriend, leading to his removal from the event, highlights the importance of respecting traditions and considering the feelings of others. The incident was perceived as disrespectful and unnecessary, potentially damaging the relationship between the man and his girlfriend, as well as straining his connection with her family. The small details shared in the conversation, such as the man's age and his frequent comments about Minnesota Vikings, provide insight into his character and suggest that he may not be serious about commitment. The incident serves as a reminder that thoughtless actions can have lasting consequences and that open communication and consideration for others' feelings are crucial in maintaining healthy relationships.

    • Navigating Complex RelationshipsRelationships can be complicated and involve difficult situations. It's important to communicate openly and understand each other's perspectives.

People's past relationships can be complicated and involve difficult situations. In the discussed example, the speaker shared an experience of dating a man who had another girlfriend at the same time. Despite this, they continued to see each other and even took a trip together. This situation led the speaker to meet her current partner, who was a friend of the other woman. The speaker and the other woman eventually became roommates in college. The man was from the speaker's hometown and would visit often, leading him to cheat on his other girlfriend with the speaker. Although they are no longer friends, the speaker reflects on the experience and acknowledges the complexity of the situation. The conversation also touched on the topic of jokes and their impact, particularly when they are sexist or insensitive. The speakers emphasized the importance of acknowledging and addressing such comments, especially when they refer to women's bodies. Overall, the conversation highlighted the intricacies of relationships and the importance of communication and understanding.

    • Family secrets causing unexpected emotionsDiscovering family secrets can lead to complex emotions, but open communication is key to handling the situation.

Family secrets can unexpectedly surface and cause complex emotions. In the discussed Reddit story, a young couple's relationship was put to the test when they discovered their parents were secret cousins. This revelation led to confusion, tears, and a panic attack for the girlfriend. Despite the initial shock, the parents remained calm and eventually explained their past relationship. The incident highlighted the importance of open communication and the potential complications that can arise from hidden family history. Additionally, the Reddit user shared their amusement towards an unrelated topic, a controversial figure, and a song from their past, showcasing the juxtaposition of emotions during the situation.

    • Family secrets and complex relationshipsFamily secrets can lead to unexpected revelations and complicated dynamics, emphasizing the importance of open communication and DNA testing for clarification.

Family secrets and complex relationships can lead to unexpected and confusing situations. The story shared involves a woman named OP, who grew up believing her stepfather was her biological father. However, she later discovered that her mother had kept a secret for 19 years – her biological father had signed her birth certificate but was not related to her by blood. This revelation came to light at a family reunion, where OP's mother had easy access to family photos, leading many to question the authenticity of the story. Despite the shocking nature of the situation, some commenters pointed out that the genetic relationship between second cousins is minimal, and it's a common occurrence in small towns. Others were curious about the car washing business mentioned in the story and why the woman had been emancipated at a young age. Throughout the discussion, the woman expressed her frustration with the situation, particularly the use of brackets to hide her name in the original post. She also shared her perspective on growing up with two "dads" and how it was a normal part of her life. In the end, the story serves as a reminder that family dynamics can be complicated and that secrets, no matter how well-intentionally kept, can eventually come to light. It also highlights the importance of open communication and the potential benefits of DNA testing to clarify familial relationships.

    • Family dynamics and personal identity: complex and emotionalExploring family secrets and personal identity, the speakers discuss the impact of not knowing one's biological father and the emotional weight of taboo topics, emphasizing the importance of open communication and therapy.

Family dynamics and personal identity can be complex and emotionally charged. The speaker in this conversation shares their experience of not knowing their biological father and the impact it has had on their life. They also discuss a Reddit post about a woman who traveled to a foreign country to get pregnant by a stranger. The conversation touches on themes of secrecy, desire, and acceptance. The speaker expresses their curiosity about the car wash business and the sudden shift in conversation to discussing paternity and identity. They also share their wish that their father was actually their biological dad and the disappointment they felt when they discovered otherwise. The conversation then moves to the topic of personal hygiene and the debate over whether or not men should wash their backsides. Throughout the conversation, the speakers display a sense of humor and a willingness to explore taboo topics. However, they also acknowledge the emotional weight of the topics they discuss and the potential for therapy to help process these complexities. Ultimately, the conversation highlights the complexity of family dynamics and personal identity and the importance of open and honest communication.

    • Addressing Hygiene Issues in RelationshipsOpen communication is crucial in addressing hygiene issues in relationships. Approach the topic delicately, but don't ignore consistent patterns of behavior that may indicate deeper issues.

Communication is key in maintaining a healthy and clean relationship. The discussion revolved around a person's boyfriend leaving skid marks on the bed and attempting to hide them. The speaker suggested that the boyfriend might not be wiping properly after using the bathroom. While some may find this behavior embarrassing or unsanitary, others may view it as a sign of immaturity or negligence. The speaker acknowledged that approaching the issue delicately is important, but also expressed frustration with the boyfriend's attempts to cover up the mess and his lack of responsibility in cleaning up after himself. The situation raises concerns about the boyfriend's hygiene and potential health issues. In the end, the speaker suggested that addressing the issue directly and having an open conversation about it could be the best solution. It's important to remember that everyone makes mistakes, but consistent patterns of behavior can indicate deeper issues that need to be addressed. Communication and mutual respect are essential in maintaining a healthy and satisfying relationship.

    • Maintaining Proper Bathroom HygieneProper bathroom hygiene is vital for personal health and preventing plumbing issues. Be mindful of wiping techniques, what to flush, and addressing bathroom needs promptly.

Personal hygiene, particularly in the area of bathroom habits and wiping techniques, is crucial for maintaining a clean and healthy living environment. IBS or other stomach issues do not excuse neglecting proper peri care. Additionally, it's important to be mindful of what can and cannot be flushed down the toilet, especially wipes, to prevent plumbing issues. Lastly, some people may have unusual preferences or experiences related to poop, but it's essential to prioritize cleanliness and respect for others. For instance, having a bowel movement in public, such as in a Toys R Us bathroom as a child, can be an embarrassing experience, but it's essential to address the need to relieve oneself rather than risking health complications.

    • A traumatic bathroom experience at Toys R UsA childhood incident left the speaker sensitive to poop-related issues and shaped their perspective on hygiene and embarrassing situations

The speaker's experience of pooping in a public restroom at Toys R Us when they were 12 years old left a lasting impression on them. The bathroom was disgusting, and they ended up having an accident in their pants instead of using the restroom. The incident was traumatizing, and they were rewarded with a free toy from the store. The experience has made the speaker more sensitive to poop-related issues and has influenced their relationships, including their relationship with their boyfriend at the time. The incident also served as a preamble to the speaker's podcast, where they share and discuss various poop-related stories. The experience has become a core memory for the speaker and has shaped their perspective on hygiene and embarrassing situations.

    • Open communication about personal hygieneClear communication and setting expectations about personal hygiene can lead to improved health, increased intimacy, and better relationships.

Effective communication and setting hygiene standards are crucial in maintaining a healthy and clean relationship. The discussion revolves around a common issue where some individuals neglect washing certain body parts, specifically the legs and buttocks, leading to health concerns and discomfort for their partners. The conversation highlights how men, in particular, may not be explicitly taught to clean these areas growing up, and how it's essential to have open and sometimes uncomfortable conversations about personal hygiene. The script provided in the discussion is an excellent example of how to approach such a sensitive topic with care and respect. It's essential to remember that clear communication and setting expectations can lead to improved health, increased intimacy, and overall better relationships.

    • Considering feelings and reactions before playing pranksPranks can bring people closer, but consider feelings and reactions before executing to avoid negative consequences. Respect individual senses of humor and potential reactions.

Humor and pranks can bring people closer together, but it's essential to consider the feelings and reactions of others. In the discussed scenario, a group of friends played a prank on one of their girlfriends during a birthday party to cheer up their injured friend. The prank involved getting her a pizza with the slices facing up, but she got angry and left, ruining the vibe of the party. While some friends thought it was a harmless prank, others believed it was disrespectful and inappropriate. It's important to remember that everyone has different senses of humor and reactions to pranks, and it's crucial to consider the potential consequences before executing a prank. Additionally, the discussion touched upon the topic of personal hygiene, emphasizing the importance of washing one's body parts, including the genital area and the ass crack, to maintain good health and avoid passing on bacterial infections.

    • Considering Others' Feelings in PranksPranks should bring joy and excitement, not cause harm or embarrassment. Instead of smashing pizza or cakes, consider gifting thoughtful or exciting items to cheer someone up.

Pranks should bring joy and excitement, not cause harm or embarrassment. The discussion revolves around the idea that smashing pizza in someone's face might not be an ideal prank due to the lack of a "great smashable quality" and the potential for causing anger or disappointment. The speakers also mention their confusion regarding the cake smashing culture, expressing concern over ruining someone's special moments. They suggest alternative ways to cheer someone up, such as gifting them something exciting or thoughtful. Overall, the conversation emphasizes the importance of considering others' feelings and emotions when planning pranks or surprises.

    • Misunderstandings and conflict in social situationsBeing aware of social cues and sensitive to others' reactions can prevent misunderstandings and conflict in social situations. Avoid using phrases or 'bits' that may be perceived as vulgar or rude by others.

The use of certain phrases or "bits" in social situations can lead to misunderstandings and conflict, especially when the social norms are not clearly understood. The OP's experience with her mother-in-law highlights this issue. The phrase "happy day of coming out of your mother's vagina" was perceived as vulgar and rude by her mother-in-law, while the OP saw it as a harmless way to add humor to a birthday greeting. The incident underscores the importance of being aware of social cues and being sensitive to the reactions of others. Additionally, the conversation touched on the concept of "bits," or recurring phrases or actions that people use as part of their daily lives, and how they can bring joy and humor to everyday experiences. Overall, the discussion emphasizes the need for effective communication and empathy in navigating social situations.

    • Understanding the importance of acknowledging partner's passions and accomplishmentsRecognize and respect your partner's interests and achievements to foster a healthy relationship

Respect and acknowledgement of one's accomplishments and passions are important in a relationship. In the discussed scenario, a man felt disrespected when his wife failed to acknowledge his self-proclaimed title of "pilot" during an introduction at a social event. Despite his extensive hobby and investment in aviation, he held a managerial job in the food industry. His wife, unaware of the significance of the title to him, referred to his job instead. The man perceived this as a disrespectful oversight and an indication of insensitivity towards his interests and accomplishments. The incident led to an argument, with the man expressing his feelings of insecurity and frustration to the community, seeking validation and advice. While some saw the man's reaction as an overreaction, others sympathized with his desire for recognition and respect. Overall, the incident highlights the importance of open communication and understanding in relationships, and the significance of acknowledging and respecting one's partner's passions and accomplishments.

    • Honesty and respect in relationshipsHonesty and respect are essential for healthy relationships. Hiding one's true occupation or intentions can lead to confusion and potential harm. Supporting each other's dreams, even if financially straining, shows dedication and love. However, boundaries and balance are important to maintain a healthy partnership.

The importance of honesty and respect in relationships was a recurring theme in the discussion. The man's desire to hide his true occupation and present himself as a pilot, even with no formal training, led to confusion and potential embarrassment for his wife. The conversation also touched on the topic of hobbies versus professions and the value of various jobs. Ultimately, it was agreed that honesty and respect are crucial in maintaining healthy relationships. The wife's support and encouragement of her husband's dreams, even if they led to financial strain, showed her dedication and love. However, the situation raised questions about boundaries and the balance of give and take in relationships. The man's actions, while driven by his ambitions, could be perceived as disrespectful and potentially damaging to their partnership.

    • Exploring the Intensity of Human EmotionsSpeaker's emotions can be intense and irrational, drawing comparisons to fictional characters, but ultimately wish for happiness for all involved.

Despite this, they ultimately wish for everyone involved to live happy lives. The speaker also expressed their ignorance about certain health-related matters, despite their background in healthcare. S02.E03 - How do I out serve her

In this episode (How do I out serve her), I wrap my conversation with a friend, who's been married for 5 years, and examine his journey towards marriage and how he and his wife have navigated challenging times.

We discuss service leadership in a relationship and the mentality to out serve your partner. We talk about the roles and responsibilities in the household and the importance of having a partner that will hold you accountable. We debate the perception of the term “head of household” and why it might be outdated. I inquire about creating space for your wife to find and have a voice in the relationship. We go deep on how to balance the business of the relationship with the romance in the relationship. We end the conversation around the idea of maturity, what that means, and the importance of time management to balance areas we invest our energy in.

E482 Ask Nick - Addicted to Toxic Work Situationship

Welcome back to another juicy and exciting episode of The Viall Files: Ask Nick Edition! On this show, we’re here to help with all your burning questions about dating and relationships! We bring on our first caller, who has been in a long distance relationship for a long time with her boyfriend. After it looks like they are able to move much closer and no longer have to do long distance, our caller wonders how to best transition into this new phase, being able to enjoy each other but also respect the space they might need. Our next caller finds herself stuck in a toxic work environment when a situationship starts to go astray. Having an intense  emotional relationship with someone you work with everyday, our caller feels stress when not being able to set proper boundaries both at work and in the situationship with her coworker. Our last caller struggles when her husband's friend continues to try to insert himself and befriend our caller’s family. After her mother says she’s getting DMs from this friend, our caller is unsure how to read his intentions and how to set boundaries while also potentially being supportive if need be.

    2941 More of We

    2941 More of We

Life can get in the way of loving those closest to us, especially our spouses. So instead of hiding in our busyness and floundering more in someone else's highlight reel, make a commitment to more of we.

How much time do you spend with your spouse?

Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at Women of IMPACT. https://createyournow.mn.co

And would you say that you spend less time together now than when you got married?

Most of us have to really stop and think when we see our sweethearts. And as for the time, what time is it again?

The number one relationship, if you're married, is your spouse.

But very quickly, we find other ways to occupy our time, distract our attention, and lead us down a rabbit hole in our own homes.

It just does not seem fair to anyone!

Yet you live it every day. You get up and do YOUR thing and forget that there's someONE in your life. You take care of the children, because you have to. But the rest is left to fend for themselves.

How can any marriage be awesome if that's a typical every day?

What if you would make time for each other?

What if there was more of we?

The K.I.S.S. ~ More of WE!

My goal here is to get you thinking about how you spend TIME with your spouse.

Are you showing up with your best self, or is your spouse getting the leftovers?

"Leftovers are great for food, not so much for love!" ~ Kristianne Wargo

You get out what you put into your marriage. So why not show up with enthusiasm? Why not give more when you don't receive? Why not have compassion during challenges in life? Why not be together more than you are apart?

It's hard to build a strong foundation in marriage if you're not together. Logistics do matter.

I want to encourage you to analyze your time with your spouse.

    1. How much time do you spend together in bed?
    2. How much time do you spend as a couple awake and interacting?
    3. How much time do you spend talking about life, not just kids and career?

Then from there, you'll be able to see what is happening regarding time.

    Is time on your side?

Assuming that you fall into "most of us," then you can make some tweaks to how you hang out together. The way you spend your time together matters!

QUESTION: What can you do differently to add time to love?

"Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!"
