When Redirection Is a Chef's Kiss | Maria Tripodis
For empath Maria Tripodis, cooking is a means of creative expression and making people feel good. By focusing on these values, Maria overcame rejection after rejection on traditional career paths until she was finally redirected to becoming a private chef and start her own company, Seasonal Dining.
In this episode, Maria uncoils the challenges faced when turning passion into business, grounding rituals and brainfoods to keep energy levels high, and the importance of finding oneself outside of relationships. She and host Helena also relate on how the immigrant mindset in their family backgrounds influenced their life goals and career aspirations.
Maria is a registered dietician and private chef in New York. She earned a master's degree in dietetics and nutrition from Florida International Univeristy.
