Consuming more than 12 teaspoons of sugar a day opens oneself up to many health risks, sugar is addictive, but for the sake of better health, one should replace sugar-sweetened drinks with water, or carbonated water with a splash of lemon or lime at times.

A gratitude journal helps you consistently shift from cynicism to optimism, when not overused or misused.
