#107- My new book Baseball Dreams and Bikers

#107- My new book Baseball Dreams and Bikers

Is due out 10/24. Pre-sale soon...

In the title story, I don't think I knew how closely I was writing about my own struggles as a teen. What would have happened if someone had paid more attention or was a guiding light in my life? The trajectory of my life would have been very different. My thoughts and choices would have been different. And so would have the outcomes. I'm guessing it is the same for you.

I also didn't realize the three pieces in the collection were about dreams: dreams that get stuck, dreams that fail, dreams that keep us up at night, and dreams we honor and fulfill.

Stay tuned. This is my best book yet.

#106 - If Everything is a Story so is Happiness w/Counselor Kevin Burk

Your life is a story, and you are the main character. Every choice you make in your life is intended to move you closer to your ultimate goal: to get everything you’ve ever wanted. The reason you want everything you’ve ever wanted is that you believe when you get everything you’ve ever wanted, you’ll live happily ever after.

This doesn’t mean what you think it means.

Happily ever after is not the end of the story of your life. Happily ever after means you have a foundation of happiness. Happily ever after isn’t a happy ending. Happily ever after is a happy beginning. The Story of Your Life is just getting started.

To achieve a goal, you need to know three things. You need to know what it is, you need to know where it is, and you need to know how to get there.

The Human Game will give you better answers to all three of these questions. You will know what happiness is and what’s required to experience it. You will know where happiness is. And you will understand your current approach to happiness—and what you can do to improve it.

With the Human Game, you can build a Happiness GPS.

Learn more (and experience this for yourself) at PlayTheHumanGame.com.

Kevin B. Burk has been counseling and coaching since 1998, when he came upon the idea for the Human Game.

#104 - Law of Attraction Methods with Zehra Mahoon

#104 - Law of Attraction Methods with Zehra Mahoon

Great conversation today with Zehra Mahoon,

She says, " Today, I am at a place where I feel secure. I feel confident about my future. I feel that I am in control of my life. I feel happy and satisfied with my accomplishments.
But it wasn't always like that. My life was a mess. I had no money, my husband had cheated on me and left the country, I had no work and was alone in a new country with two little children. That's when I found the Law of Attraction.

The thing is, my story is not like the other stories of immediate success with manifesting that you hear about. I found Law of Attraction and made a a big mess that was my life, a bigger mess. Yes! I used the tools completely wrong.

You see, I didn't understand nor did I accept the fundamental principles that create success. That was more than 15 years ago.

Since then, I have learned that Law of Attraction is not a tool - it is a way of looking at life; it is a lifestyle. I live it and practice it everyday.

Now it is my mission to make it easy for others to understand and apply the Law of Attraction. I want to cut out the crap and the fluffy sensational headlines and give you the essence of the principles."

Zehra Mahoon’s mission is to guide others to stop making the mistakes that are preventing them from their success and ultimate joy by teaching them the power of heart and mind alignment based on the Law of Attraction. She is the author of fifteen books on these subjects and the creator of the Unlimited 40 day law of attraction workbook and support group. After committing to completely transforming her self-worth in 2006, she went from being massively in debt to owning multiple properties and creating a thriving business, as well as healing her relationships. She shares her personal journey to help people understand that power of reclaiming their self-worth.

#103 - Never Forget What You Love

We often hold onto things that do not serve us. We spend time in the arena of bad memories and feelings that often keep us stuck in the very same event day after day, month after month, year after year. But life is short and fleeting. Don't hold onto regrets or fear. For life can change in the blink of an eye.

A friend's wife had a stroke. She is in her early fifties and was in good health.

This is not the podcast I expected to release today. I recorded it this morning after hearing the news.

Hold on to what you love.
