Contentment Continuum - What is Contentment? And Dangers of Being Overly or Under Content

We have been away for a few months and are so happy to be back!

Today we are investigating contentment. We define content along with it's sister words complacent, and covet. Listen in to hear where these matters of heart fall on a continuum, get some takeaways on how to increase contentment, and provoke some reflection on where you currently land. We think you'll leave this episode with thought-provoking application on how to improve contentment in your own life.

Finding Purpose From Suffering and Grief with Julia Erman

    Today's episode is POWERFUL.

Courtney and Brigette brought on Julia Erman, friend, wife, special needs mom, entrepreneur, author, educator, and speaker. This is a deep, raw, emotional conversation, but one that we need to talk more about. Julia shares her story which includes a lot of suffering. She shares how her faith has propelled her, what grief has been like, and what has kept her moving forward.

Julia offers rich wisdom, inspiration, courage, and encouragement to our listeners, and we are so grateful for our conversation today. We would love to know what resonated with you - and be sure to head over to Julia's socials to connect with her.

Trigger Warning: We talk about cancer and children with special needs with some discussion about child loss. Julia shares her story up until the 18:55 second mark if you would like to skip past her story.

Tami is a friend, entrepreneur, mentor, and leader in community-building - among so many other hats she wears. She is rich in wisdom and gifts in the area of community building so we had to bring her on the podcast to wrap up this series.

    37: Connectedness Pt 2 - Networking Deep-Dive - WHY and HOW

Today's episode is part 2 of our series covering the umbrella topic of "connectedness." Today we are specifically talking all about networking. Or, if that word gives you hives, you can call it "relationship building" instead ;)

Courtney starts off the conversation by giving us 5 benefits of networking. We couldn't think of any downsides! Then we wrap up the episode talking about "how-to" networking (with a few "how-not-to" ideas to boot).  We cover the energy to bring to an event, the magic that already exists in your inner and outer circle, how networking can expand opportunities, and how to get you in the right frame of mind to network.

There is something for everyone in today's episode! Share with a friend who might benefit from hearing this message, too!
