4 Minutes For The 85% Of People Who Hate Their Jobs | A Gary Vaynerchuk Original

    enApril 26, 2019

    Podcast Summary

    • Consider taking a financial step back for freedom and passionGary encourages listeners to downsize or move back in with family for financial freedom to pursue passions and quit unfulfilling jobs.

Many people are trapped in jobs they dislike due to financial commitments and societal pressures. They prioritize material possessions and impressing others over their happiness and fulfillment. Gary encourages listeners to consider taking a step backwards financially, such as moving back in with parents or downsizing, in order to have the freedom to pursue their passions and quit unfulfilling jobs. Instead of seeking permission from others, individuals should trust themselves and their abilities to make a change for a better, more authentic life.

    • Take control of your futureDon't let others' opinions or past experiences hold you back, focus on taking action towards your goals, embrace uncertainty and create the future you desire

You have the power to take control of your life and not let others' opinions hold you back. The people commenting on your social media or your past experiences do not define your future. It's natural to have fears and doubts, but dwelling on them can prevent you from making progress. Instead, focus on taking action towards your goals, even if it means taking a step backwards temporarily. Remember that life is uncertain and will bring both good and bad experiences, but ultimately, it's up to you to create the future you want. So go out there and do that thing you've been wanting to do, whether it's asking someone out, starting a company, or quitting a job. Don't let fear or other people's opinions keep you stuck in the present. Embrace the uncertainty and take a step forward towards the future you desire.

The Most Important Question In Business

The Most Important Question In Business

Here’s the problem most people run into when they create content online: They think they have to have something to say. So many of you aren’t putting out content online because you think you need to have the perfect message, or something “valuable” to share (based on your own arbitrary opinion). And what I’m telling you is, you will get more business if you put out literally anything. If you’re an auto dealer, you could put out a 5 min video every afternoon just recapping what happened in your day. If you’re a real estate agent, you could post updates on what your opinions are about the Super Bowl teams. Get on social media and tell your truth … it’s really that simple.

Alissa grew up in The Netherlands and Ireland before moving to sunny Southern California. Outside of business, you can catch her at the beach, doing yoga or sipping spicy margs with her friends.
