    Theresa Hinman is Native American and a proud member of the Ponca Nation. As a direct descendant of two well-known leaders, Chief Standing Bear and Chief Red Leaf, she carries the torch of leadership toward a greater good for all people. As the Founder and President of the Coalition for the Betterment of Indian Education (C4BIE), she believes that advocating for Indian Education will ultimately create a better future for all children.

    Dr. Jaclyn Duvall is a native Tulsan who knew from an early age that she wanted to help people. Growing up with a mother suffering from Multiple Sclerosis fueled her passion for pursuing a career that could make lives better.  As you’ll learn, she pursued medicine, even securing a fellowship to learn and train at the prestigious Mayo Clinic and even authored a book during that time (you’ll learn from tips from her on how she organized her time to accomplish this). As a neurologist with a specialization in headaches, you’ll learn the difference between a headache and a migraine, as well as advice for parents who may suffer from headaches. You also learn about her fairly new endeavor opening a medical office and how it’s really a family affair – as she includes her husband and kids in the process of building her practice.

Dr. Amy Emerson serves as the Director of Hope Driven-Parenting, an organization that provides resources, training, and support to anyone on their parenting journey. In her career as a pediatrician, she has seen the power and science behind hope and how it is helping individuals and families thrive.     Shelly Weaver is focused on creating epic opportunities for kids across Oklahoma. As the Founder of EPOS Sports Experience, a nonprofit dedicated to transforming the lives of youth, she has built an impactful organization in just a short time. EPOS, the Greek word for “Epic,” sponsors camps and events for kids in grades 7th through 12th in mainstream sports, rodeo and agriculture. This organization is going into its fifth year and has already made a significant impact on the lives of the students across Oklahoma. At the end of this visit, she'll share her advice for those thinking about starting a non-profit and share her the personal growth she is looking for in 2024.
