A Mission Conversation

Today we sat down with Sean Mullin and had a candid discussion on his time as a missionary to some of the toughest locations on earth. Sean has a very interesting background and it was a joy to sit down and discuss his background, how he felt called into the ministry, and the adventures God has led him through in his 25 years on the mission field. 

Today we sit down with Pastor Donald Cline from Mt. Anderson Baptist and discuss the ongoing crisis in Ukraine. Pastor Cline is no stranger to Ukraine and has served on many many mission trips to Ukraine and has a lot missionally invested. It was great to hear from our of our own local pastors who has been there many times and can help bring a bit of perspective to the conversation.

In today's episode Christin set down with Pam Troxler and Nancy Hylton, both of which are plugged into small groups, and also have either taught or participated in small groups. They break down the barriers of how DBC does women's groups and ministry and the impact it has had on their lives and relationships across the board here at church. 

We hope that even if you're not an active attending member of DBC and are elsewhere listening in, you catch some nuggets of info that you can take with you and possibly apply to your small groups discussion at your church. 

Today we're sitting down with 3 of our missionaries who are stationed over the US to talk about the mission field. We'll discuss how they got started, what all they've witnessed, and the status of the mission as it today. Please remember these and countless others who have left much of their previous selves behind to carry only the name of Jesus into the unknown.

In this week's podcast, Pastor Chris sits down with Patrick Lowman our Pastor of Discipleship and Community Outreach to talk about Small Groups. We'll discuss the importance of meeting and finding that group that you can do life with, that differ from your Sunday morning interactions group. These groups can help you form stronger bonds, friendships and help with accountability. Strength in your small groups can make a large impact on your connectivity to the body.
