    • Batman: The Caped Crusader trailer reactionsHosts Boris and Dax were impressed with the visuals and voice cast of Batman: The Caped Crusader trailer, but confused about its release on Amazon Prime Video instead of Max.

Boris and Dax, the hosts of All Elite Geek Leave, shared their first reactions to the official trailer for the new animated series, "Batman: The Caped Crusader," which will be released on August 1st on Amazon Prime Video. They were impressed with the visuals, which reminded them of the 1997 animated series, and the design and music. They were also curious about the new voice actor for Batman, Hamish Linklater, and thought he did a good job based on the brief clip heard in the trailer. They were excited about the voice cast, particularly Jamie Chung as Harley Quinn and Christina Ricci as Catwoman. However, they were confused about the decision to release the show on Prime Video instead of Max, and expressed their disappointment in WB Discovery's handling of their content. Overall, they were looking forward to the new series and expressed their excitement for the upcoming animation.

    • Technology and social mediaTechnology and social media have revolutionized the way we connect with others and discover new experiences, allowing us to build communities and appreciate shared interests.

The power to connect with others and discover new experiences, whether it's through television shows, wrestling, or social media, has significantly evolved over the years. From struggling to find and share content through various means to the ease of access we have today, the internet and technology have played a crucial role in bringing people together and broadening our horizons. However, it's important to remember to use these tools for good and appreciate the connections we make along the way. For instance, the story of how two fans from different regions bonded over their shared love for wrestling and anime is a testament to the power of technology and social media in fostering connections and creating communities. Additionally, the anticipation and excitement for upcoming events, such as Marvel's return to Hall H at San Diego Comic Con, demonstrate the enduring impact of these experiences on fans.

    • Entertainment Industry PRMajor studios like Marvel use significant events, such as San Diego Comic-Con, to engage with fans, make strategic PR moves, and reveal exciting new projects.

San Diego Comic-Con is a significant event in the entertainment industry, with fans showing intense dedication and anticipation for major announcements, particularly from Marvel. The MCU's return to Hall H at Comic-Con, after a hiatus due to the writer's strike, is a highly anticipated event. This return is likely due to having substantial news to share, making it a strategic PR move as well as an opportunity to engage with fans in person. The hubs like San Diego Comic-Con, New York Comic Con, and E3 are essential for fans to come together and celebrate their fandoms. The upcoming Street Fighter reboot movie's announcement for a 2026 release date also adds to the excitement surrounding Comic-Con. Overall, the event represents a unique opportunity for studios to connect with fans and reveal exciting new projects.

    • Independent filmmakersIndependent filmmakers can gain studio attention with passion and dedication, but staying true to source material is crucial for success in beloved franchises.

Independent filmmakers and creators have the power to capture the attention of major studios through their passion and dedication to their craft. Joey Ansah, for instance, self-funded and produced a successful Street Fighter short that went viral, leading to opportunities to work on Assassin's Fist and potentially Street Fighter projects. The importance of staying true to the source material and delivering authenticity cannot be overstated, as fans and creators alike have high expectations for beloved franchises like Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat. Capcom's upcoming digital event on July 1, 2023, is highly anticipated, with fans hoping for new IPs and the release of Street Fighter 6's extended story mode. The entertainment industry can be unpredictable, with companies making strategic decisions to maximize profits and minimize competition. Ultimately, understanding the logic behind these decisions is crucial for creators and consumers alike.

    • Forbidden Door underwhelming finishThe show had some standout moments but left viewers feeling underwhelmed due to an overabundance of main event-level matches before the actual pay-per-view and a lack of clear direction for some storylines.

The Forbidden Door show had its moments, but the overabundance of main event-level matches before the actual pay-per-view left some viewers feeling underwhelmed and wishing for more build-up to the main event. The MJF and Daniel Garcia segment was a highlight, with MJF extending an offer for a title shot and Garcia accepting, but the lack of clear direction for the Blackpool Combat Club left some feeling confused. The tag team match between Moxley, Castanole, and Yuda vs. Los Ingleveronavis and Shingo Takagi was enjoyable, but the refusal of anyone to take a loss led to a disappointing finish. Overall, while there were some standout moments, the show left some viewers wanting more substance and less filler before the main event.

    • AEW's thriving women's divisionDespite the aging process, wrestlers like Ricochet and Russell showcase enduring skills. Competition drives cross paths between groups, and the women's division thrives with fan support and engaging storylines.

Despite the aging process, Russell's impact and performance in wrestling remain unchanged. The match between Shingle Takagi and Ricochet from King of Gate 2013 is a favorite, showcasing Russell's enduring skills. The Owen Hart Foundation tournament quarterfinal match between Jay White and Ray Fenix was a 50-50 contest, with clear winners and losers, making it more compelling. The Bullet Club Gold's current gray status is a result of the competition and sport's nature, necessitating cross paths between groups. The rumored wild card for the tournament is a topic of confusion, with fans speculating it could be Hangman Page. The Acclaimed and Billy Gunn's challenge to the Young Bucks for a Trios match at Forbidden Door was met with Okada's interference, leading to a Trios match with Hiroshi Tanahashi as "Scissor Ace." Mark Briscoe's promo with Kyle O'Reilly and Zack Sabre Jr. was a highlight, showcasing their chemistry and humor. The women's division in AEW is thriving, with fan support and engaging storylines.

    • Women's wrestling in AEWThe women's division in AEW is thriving with standout performers like Mina Shirakawa, Sariah, Holly, Anna Jay, and Mariah Mae. Their captivating storylines and diverse matches are elevating the division.

The women's division in wrestling is currently thriving, with standout performances from Mina Shirakawa, Sariah, Holly, Anna Jay, and Mariah Mae. Their storylines have been captivating audiences and elevating the division as a whole. However, the contrasting performances of Mercedes Monet have been noticeable and a point of comparison. Additionally, there have been compelling segments involving the Learning Tree gimmick and the feud between Samoa Joe and Chris Jericho. Overall, the wrestling matches have been diverse and engaging, showcasing different wrestling styles and techniques. The upcoming Forbidden Door pay-per-view is highly anticipated, with the main event being Will Osprey versus Swerve Strickland for the AEW World Championship.

    • AEW eventThe upcoming AEW event features anticipated matches, potential title changes, and thrilling contests including a grudge match, ladder match, women's championships, and IWGP title bout.

The upcoming AEW event is shaping up to be an exciting one with several anticipated matches and potential title changes. The main event could be a long-awaited grudge match between Hangman and Swerve Strickland, leading to a possible showdown with MJF and the MegaFaction. The ladder match for the vacant AEW TNT Championship is expected to be a thrilling and chaotic affair, and Monday will likely defend her TBS Championship and New Japan pressing strong women's World Championship against Mercedes Monabes. Tony Storm is predicted to win the singles match for the AEW Women's World Championship, and Orange Cassidy may lose his first match against Zack Sabre Jr. The IWGP World Heavyweight Championship match between Naito and Moxley is expected to be intense, with Moxley potentially winning and taking Naito's spot in the G1. The trios match between The Elite, The Butcher and The Blade, and Shibata is predicted to go to The Elite, as they won't win the upcoming title match. Overall, the event promises to be action-packed and full of surprises.

    • Forbidden Door, August game releasesThe upcoming AEW pay-per-view, Forbidden Door, and the packed August game releases are highly anticipated by fans. The SNME crew will be covering all the latest news and reviews on their podcast, Talk Time Live.
