Baptist de Pape - A Reflection on the Proven Power of Following Your Heart

    en-usJuly 23, 2022
What journey has Mo Gawdat undertaken over the past seven years?
How does the heart relate to our true identity?
What did Anita Moorjani learn during her near-death experience?
How can merging with unconditional love lead to healing?
What evidence suggests a connection beyond the physical world?

    • From head to heart: Connecting with our soul and true identityThe heart is the source of intuitive information and true connection, allowing us to access our soul and true identity.

The heart is the key to connecting with our soul and true identity. Mo Gawdat, the host of this podcast, has been on a journey from his head to his heart for the past seven years, and he believes that real communication and true connection come from speaking and listening from the heart. The power of the heart is also the seed of the soul, and according to Paulo Coelho in the documentary "The Power of the Heart," many people have become disconnected from their souls due to social engineering and conditioning. Science shows that the heart receives intuitive information before the brain does, and this information comes from our soul. The documentary "The Power of the Heart" is highly recommended as it provides compelling evidence for the importance of the heart in accessing our soul and true identity.

    • Discovering our true identity beyond physical bodyNear-death experiences reveal our true identity as love, and authentic living can heal physical ailments.

Our true identity goes beyond the physical body and is rooted in unconditional love. This was demonstrated in Anita Moorjani's near-death experience, where she discovered a heightened state of consciousness and realized that past lives, time, and cultural conditioning are illusions. In this state, she encountered her father who showed her unconditional love and helped her understand that her fear and lack of authenticity had manifested as cancer in her body. Her father urged her to return to the physical world to share this message of love and authenticity with others, and upon doing so, her cancer miraculously disappeared. This story underscores the importance of living authentically, embracing our true identity as love, and recognizing that our physical bodies are merely vessels for this infinite intelligence.

    • Merging with love and self-truth leads to healing and attracting the right peopleConnecting to one's true identity and acknowledging the deeper truth of oneness can lead to miraculous healings and attracting supportive people into your life.

Merging with unconditional love and being true to oneself can lead to miraculous healings and attracting the right people into one's life. The story of a woman who was healed from cancer after merging with her true identity and attracting the attention of spiritual teacher Wayne Dyer, resulting in a New York Times bestseller, illustrates this concept. At a deeper level, the idea is that there is only one consciousness, and we are all connected. However, the noisy mind chatter often prevents us from connecting to this deeper truth. The story also highlights the importance of acknowledging the evidence that suggests there is more to us than the physical world, which is often ignored in the modern world.

    • Connecting with the soul through practicesThrough practices like meditation, gratitude, prayer, singing, writing, and love, we can connect with our soul and make decisions based on both logic and intuition for an authentic and fulfilling life

The mind and body are interfaces to our deeper, infinite soul. Society has conditioned us to prioritize the mind's limited perspective over the soul's infinite wisdom. Practices like meditation, gratitude, prayer, singing, writing, and even falling in love can help us connect with our soul and allow our personality or mind to serve its energy. This authentic power leads to decisions that go beyond rationality and tap into the spiritual energy of love and soul connections. By giving ourselves permission to listen to our soul and making decisions based on both logic and intuition, we can live more authentically and fully.

    • Connecting with the soul's intentionsThe soul is intelligent and active, guiding us towards fulfillment. Quieting the mind and ignoring societal conditioning helps us connect with and follow its intentions.

The soul has intentions and it's our job to identify and fulfill them. The soul is not passive, but active and intelligent, and it's essential to quiet the mind and personality to connect with it. Following the soul's guidance may not be easy, but it leads to a sense of contentment and fulfillment. Conditioning and societal expectations can distract us from our soul's intentions, leading to inner conflicts and feelings of disconnect. Ignoring the soul's call can result in depression and a sense of being cut off from aliveness. The stories of successful people who tapped into their soul's intentions despite societal conditioning serve as examples of this truth.

    • Experiences reveal our soul's truthOur experiences, whether in life or gaming, can help us connect with our soul and evolve as human beings.

Our experiences, whether they involve business deals or video games, can help us evolve spiritually and align more closely with our true selves. The natural feeling of these experiences indicates that they come from our soul. Our spirit doesn't evolve, but as human beings, we can. We may be in a duality world to learn about ourselves, and our avatars can speak with each other as part of this experience. The present moment focus required in challenging video games, like Halo, can help us flow with life and connect more deeply to our feminine, heart, and soul sides. Our souls may be using these physical experiences to recognize certain facts and help us grow.

    • Fear's Impact on Our Ability to Access Full PotentialFear limits our potential by keeping us out of alignment with our true selves, but love and heart coherence can open up more brain capacity and improve intelligence and functioning.

Our emotions, particularly fear, can significantly impact our ability to access our full potential and align with our true selves. Fear is a state of being out of alignment with our infinite consciousness, intelligence, and unconditional love. Mainstream media often programs us with fear, causing many people to live out of alignment with their true selves. However, when we experience love and heart coherence, our hearts send signals to our brains, opening up more brain capacity and allowing our left and right brains to work together more effectively. This can lead to increased intelligence and better functioning. Fear acts as a control system, limiting our potential when we are in its grip. It's important to recognize the power of emotions and strive to align with our true selves, allowing us to access our full potential.

    • Overcoming Fear with Inner Courage and HeartFocusing on inner world, living from heart, and developing inner courage helps overcome fear and create desired reality, while inner peace is key to overcoming external challenges.

Fear controls us and prevents us from accessing our inner powers, such as intuition, connection, harmony, and gratitude. To overcome this, we need to focus on our inner world and seek to live from our heart, which requires courage. By developing inner courage and staying true to our inner voice, we can create the reality we desire and stay connected to our true essence. The story of the Japanese samurai illustrates this idea, as it shows that our inner state determines our experience of suffering and that seeking inner peace is the key to overcoming external challenges. So, instead of focusing on external fears and distractions, we should strive to develop inner courage and live from our heart.

    • Aligning with our soul for greater happinessRecognize your soul signature, embrace differences, act from love, and connect with the present moment for greater happiness and fulfillment.

Our inner state of consciousness significantly influences our perception of reality, and focusing on aligning with our soul and acting from a place of love, gratitude, and reverence for life can lead to greater happiness and fulfillment. Eckhart Tolle's story of discovering his true self as the observer and connecting with the power of the present moment serves as an example of this. However, acknowledging and feeling compassion for the pain of others is important, but it should not be the primary driver. Instead, we should aim to help others from a place of love and being filled with it ourselves. The first step to making the heart our primary intelligence is recognizing our unique soul signature and embracing our differences.

    • Connecting with the heart through forgivenessForgiveness is a powerful way to heal and connect from the heart, shown in the story of a woman in Rwanda who forgave her family's killer during the genocide.

Connecting with the heart is a deeply personal experience unique to each individual. Some people find it through nature, writing, meditation, or even connecting with others. Forgiveness is a powerful way to connect from the heart, as shown in the story of a woman in Rwanda who chose to forgive her family's killer despite the loss of her entire family during the genocide. This act of forgiveness not only helped her heal but also showed the transformative power of the heart. Ultimately, the heart is a source of compassion, gratitude, and connection that can be accessed in various ways. And as we continue to develop artificial intelligence, it's essential to consider how we can incorporate the heart's wisdom and emotions into this new technology.

    • Forgiveness is a form of self-liberationForgiveness is essential for personal growth and transformation, not for the offender. Identifying with a higher self helps let go of anger and hate, leading to inner peace.

Forgiveness is a form of self-liberation. Immaculee Ibangiza, a woman who lost her family during the Rwandan genocide, prayed for the ability to forgive the killers not for their sake, but for hers. Forgiveness, according to Nelson Mandela, is similar to drinking poison and expecting it to harm the other person. Instead, it's essential to let go of anger and hate to reconnect with one's true self. Oprah Winfrey, born in a racist and impoverished environment, is a prime example of how forgiveness can lead to personal growth and transformation. By shifting our perspective and identifying with a higher self, we can forgive others and find inner peace. Remember, forgiveness is not for the other person, but for ourselves.

    • From adversity to success: Oprah and J.K. Rowling's inspiring storiesAdversity can be a catalyst for success. Intuition and acting upon it can lead to groundbreaking works. Aligning with our true identity and soul's intentions can lead to authentic power and success.

Our past experiences and circumstances, no matter how challenging, can serve as the foundation for our future success. Oprah Winfrey and J.K. Rowling, two influential women, both faced adversity early in their lives, with Oprah expected to become a maid and Rowling going through a failed marriage, divorce, and depression. However, they used these experiences as opportunities to pursue their dreams. When they hit rock bottom, they realized they had nothing left to lose and decided to do what they truly wanted to do. This led to their incredible success stories. Another important factor is the role of intuition and acting upon it. Both women experienced inspirational downloads that led to their groundbreaking works. Lastly, recognizing and aligning with our true identity and intentions of the soul can lead us to authentic power and success.

    • Connecting with soul's purpose leads to manifestationsWhen we align with our soul's purpose, the universe works through us, leading to miracles and living in alignment with our unique signature.

When we connect with our soul's purpose and intentions, we tap into infinite intelligence and the universe starts to work through us, leading to manifestations and living in alignment with our soul signature. This concept, as illustrated by the success stories of Oprah Winfrey, JK Rowling, and Anita Moorjani, is universal and not limited to material wealth. By focusing on our soul's purpose, we can experience miracles and live from our element, rather than forcing ourselves to do and achieve. The key is to have heart coherence and trust that we are here for a reason, allowing the universe to help us. Remember to subscribe, like, and share to stay updated on more insightful conversations.

Deciding What to do With Your Life

Deciding What to do With Your Life

What is leading your actions?   Is it desire, or the feeling that you are suppose to do something?

Fear and societal expectations lead us to build a life around things that we may not have chosen intentionally. This keeps us in a pattern of doing things we don't want to do, in order to get to the things we actually want to do.

"If you say that getting the money is the most important thing, you'll spend your life completely wasting your time. You'll be doing things you don't like doing in order to go on living, that is to go on doing thing you don't like doing, which is stupid."
