Brooke's Story

Growing up in Hāʻena, Kauaʻi life was simple. This is where Kaulana built her foundation and  gained her independence and no matter where she went her ʻohana would always be there. However, mother nature quickly turned her home and entire world upside down. We sit down with Kaulana as she shares how through every adversary was a new beginning to her journey of life.

Sacrifice is a constant thing when you become a mom. From your own dreams and aspirations down to your "me" time, life changes drastically every time you become a mom. Lucadia would  not change any of it for the world. Her journey not only healed her as a woman but as a mother and building relationships with her daughters who are complete opposites.

Christy is the perfect example of grace and strength. Although raising 3 kids isn’t always easy, her love and support has never wavered. She always puts God first and makes sure our home is filled with love. Crysten can honestly say that her mom is her best friend and confidant (She probably tells her more than she’d like lol). Listen in as we talk story with her about her journey through motherhood.

Raising two kids has been nothing short of a rollercoaster ride. Since embarking on the journey of motherhood in 1992 and 1994, Zelka has handled every twist and turn with grace and resilience. From what she envisioned her children to be to where they are now, she breaks it all down and talks about the rollercoaster ride of motherhood.

Working in health care is a passion of hers however sometimes those passions have to take a back seat when you become a mom. Family comes first always.

Shaping the minds of the next generation is a role not anyone can fulfill. Well, Maya is not anyone. She embraces this role eloquently and graceful. The role of a teacher is not only an occupation, it's her life purpose.
