While facing pain and difficult circumstances, it is essential to remain patient and persistent in our pursuit of love and connection. Those who consistently choose to care and love, even after being hurt, demonstrate great strength. Additionally, it is important to prioritize self-love and put ourselves first when necessary, just like putting on the oxygen mask in an airplane before assisting others. Cole Sprouse shares his journey in the industry, starting from a young age and taking on various roles, including working as identical twins to maximize the allowed working hours. He discusses the importance of financial stability in pursuing artistic projects and maintaining a passion for the discipline. Economic considerations often play a role in decision-making, and actors may need to take on commercial gigs or projects that pay less in order to support themselves. This balance between art and commerce is not always understood, leading to a division among those in the acting industry.

    • Former child star reveals the dark side of fameCole Sprouse found release from the pressures of fame by turning to photography for creative freedom and a sense of control.

Cole Sprouse initially enjoyed acting as a child and appreciated the freedom it allowed him to play with his friends and go to school. However, as he became more successful and famous, acting started to take him away from those simple joys. He realized that being an actor meant losing control over his own image and creative expression, as he became a commercial employee bound by the project's requirements. This lack of creative agency and the pressures of fame led him to dislike acting. To find solace and a sense of control, Cole turned to photography, which allowed him to escape his depression, express his own vision, and highlight his abilities with creative freedom.

He shares his own experience of feeling overwhelmed by the pressure to constantly showcase his life and encounters with others on social media. However, he also acknowledges that this superficial level of interaction is not fulfilling and lacks depth. Moment 165: This Exercise Enhances Mood, Memory & Concentration: David Raichlen

Moment 165: This Exercise Enhances Mood, Memory & Concentration: David Raichlen
In this moment, leading professor of evolutionary biology, David Raichlen discusses how to boost the brain benefits that come from exercise. Most people know that exercise can improve cognitive function, but don’t realise that different sort of exercise, like cardio or strength training, can provide different types of neurological benefits. David says that whilst all exercise is beneficial to the brain, research shows that the best sort of physical activity is a combination of physical and cognitive challenges. This helps the brain function as it copies how humans evolved to find food and survive. So this could mean that the next time you go for a run, choose the great outdoors over the treadmill and try different routes you haven’t taken before.
