Religion vs. Prayer | Prayer E2

Religion vs. Prayer | Prayer E2

In this episode, Jessica and Joseph take a look at how people prayed in ancient days. People from times forgotten made gods out of forces of nature since they seemed powerful and threatening. They prayed to these gods in many different ways.

Today we find a lot of those practices still being followed. Those religions may have died and been lost in the sands of time, but the practices of those religions have been incorporated into other religions, even the Church.

Prayer, however, goes beyond religion. Jesus came to fulfill the law, and step away from religious systems.
