      Even during the toughest of times, it's important to maintain a positive perspective and continue learning. The speaker shared an example from his own life where he had experienced three major setbacks in three weeks - the passing of both his grandfather and grandmother, and a patent infringement issue that forced him to stop selling one of his products. Most people would consider this a terrible month. However, instead of dwelling on the negativity, the speaker chose to view these experiences objectively and learn from them. He recognized that these events, while challenging, were a part of life and could provide valuable lessons. By focusing on growth and learning, even during difficult times, we can turn seemingly negative situations into opportunities for personal and professional development.

      We have the power to control our emotions and reactions to external circumstances. Life will bring us good and bad days, but it's up to us to decide how we label and respond to these experiences. Eleanor Roosevelt wisely said that nobody can make us feel inferior without our permission. It's important to remember that setbacks and disappointments don't have to control our entire week, month, or even year, if we choose not to let them. Instead, we should focus on learning from each situation and using it as an opportunity for growth. Ultimately, we are in charge of our own lives and have the power to decide how we will react to the world around us. So, the next time something small or large goes wrong, take a step back and ask yourself, "What can I learn from this?" and remember that you have the power to choose your response and keep moving forward.

      You have the power to control your mindset and your reactions to the events in your life. Instead of giving negative situations permission to ruin your day or even your week, recognize that you are in the driver's seat. You have the ability to choose how you respond and what you learn from each experience. By reframing challenges as opportunities for growth, you can turn even the worst days into opportunities for improvement. Remember, your life is made up of a series of decisions, and the choice is yours to make each day great or good or to let it be a bad one. So, when faced with adversity, take out your journal, reflect, and ask yourself, "What can I learn from this?" rather than getting derailed by the negativity. Ultimately, you are in control of your mind and your life's journey.

      Even when faced with challenging situations or people who may bring us down, we have the power to learn and grow. This mental fortitude, if cultivated consistently, can help us remain calm and unaffected by adversity in the long run. So, the next time you encounter a difficult situation or person, take a step back and ask yourself, "What can I learn from this?" Remember, you're in control of your thoughts and emotions, and with practice, you can develop the resilience to overcome any obstacle. Have a great week and strive for a positive outlook every day!

    Today’s episode was all about taking ACTION as a way to build confidence!  Taking action, making decisions, stepping out in the direction you are feeling lead in can be uncomfortable and even down-right scary at times!  But trusting our intuition and mustering up an ounce of bravery is all we need to do to take the next step.  Lisa shared the analogy of the flashlight as a visual tool to help us realize we do not need to know the end result.  A flash light illuminates the “next step” not the entire pathway.  In the same way, we want to encourage you to simply get brave and take that next step.  Release fear, perfectionism, and just take that next step!

     

    Life is about taking that next step!  We want to evolve into a better version of ourselves, not get to the end of our life realizing we are pretty much the same as decades before.  Life isn't’ just about breathing until we breathe our final breath.  Life is about living, evolving, becoming, and that all requires us to take that next step, take action!  And the beautiful result will be increased confidence to take another step!

    Real Conversations: I Was Too Scared To Commit

    Welcome to Episode Two of Real Conversations. Solo episodes where I talk freely and honestly but with real compassion and empathy about the world around us and the actions we take which may not be serving us. We are all culprits of trying to take the easy road, the quick way out, avoiding friction and any climb that will cause us to feel a little bit of pain. As well as that, I get a little vulnerable about my own life experiences every week, to show through experience why I am now passionate about what I do.

    What I want to do is break down automatic ways of thinking and create a clear pitcture of how our current reality may actually be pulling us further away from the life we actually want. I believe that there is too much noise in the world and life can be quite simple if you all it to be, if you can remove that noise and act with conscious thought, action and intent.

    This weeks episode is all about the fear to commit in life. The power imposter syndrome and lack of self-belief has on our lives and how these ideas manifest over time if we allow them to.
