And while he was on his best behavior for a while, things turned for the worst when his business partner warned her something was seriously wrong. In part one of Kari's story, we are introduced to David, a very charming man she met at work as a young single mom in college. He seemed too good to be true, and when the love bombing ensued, she fell hook, line, and sinker! After the wedding, things began to spiral when he became jealous, possessive, and eventually physically abusive - sending her prematurely to the ER to deliver their baby.  But, when the police showed up at her door, it made her question, 'Who did I marry?'

It's been a while since we last spoke with Sadie from season 4. We interviewed her recently to see how things have been since she left Justin and her season aired in August of 2022. Let's just say it wasn't smooth sailing!

During a weekend trip, Sadie met Justin in Texas and they began a whirlwind romance that resulted in her moving to be with him. It wasn't long before the relationship got abusive and the cycle went on for almost ten years before things came to a head - sending Sadie to the hospital and The A-Team [Athena and Amber] to her rescue!
