About this Episode
Breaking from the norm is crucial to keeping the community on their toes, and when we decide to switch it up for a change, we go all the way with it. Due to unforeseen circumstances, Jason was unable to make the show for Episode 104, which meant we had to pull up the unofficial third member of the podcasting team to the coveted co-hosting chair … Matt Sonnenberg! Who expected that switch, huh?
Because of the very successful Second Annual Toys For Games Award Show held last week, it has actually been two weeks since we dumped a truckload of toys-to-life news on the listening audience. Episode 104 didn’t hold anything back, as news from all the major franchises - yes, EVEN Disney Infinity - needed to be talked about and broken down on this show! We talked about Avalanche Studios, Hermione being shown off in LEGO Dimensions for the first time, Skylanders anchoring the Nintendo Switch launch, and all the new and exciting amiibo news to break over the last couple of weeks.
From there, we read the #CommunityQuestion and awarded a listener a cool prize for having the Response of the Week. And finally, we wrapped up the show with some fantastic emails, as always!

Episode 126 - Goodbye, LEGO Dimensions
Episode 126 is an episode we never wanted to do, but we've seen coming for quite some time. Unfortunately, the cancellation of LEGO Dimensions is all but a formality now, despite the formal announcement probably never happening.
First we start with our normal banter, to lighten the mood a bit. Then we get right into breaking down the most recent story of LEGO Dimensions being killed off quietly without any fanfare - just as we have been predicting for months now. Episode 123 was a long time coming, but thanks to the summer drought of news and information, as well as impossibly busy schedules, the wait for this episode was much longer than anticipated. Never fear, however, because we're back, and possibly better than before!
