Episode #20 - "Staying Positive Amid Negativity"

This week we talk about the fact that success is never on discount. Nobody rewards you for effort, you get rewarded for results. We talk a little about how that applies to the movie My All American. 

Your greatest opponents can be your greatest teachers. They can push you to be your absolute best. 

Stop putting off what you can do today. In the words of the late, great Apollo Creed, "There Is No Tomorrow!"

In the early mornings and late nights nobody will be there to root for you or congratulate you on a job well done. We must learn to be our own biggest cheerleader.

We've always talked about the benefits of having a set routine. Sometimes life throws you a curveball and you have to adapt. Take advantage of it and don't let it frustrate you. This latest freeze was a good reminder of that. 

If you're not moving towards your goals stop what you're doing and make a change in direction

We're back with our first episode of the new year. Did you make a new year's resolution? Should you? 

Setbacks are a part of life. They are not the opposote of success but part of it. If you're smart, you can see that you didn't lose. You learned. 

A single decision could change your life forever. Stop thinking about "What if things don't work out?", and start thinking about what if things DO.  

You have certain gifts and talents for a reason. You're meant to make the most of them and share them with others. There's no telling where it could lead.
