Episode 12- "Music; The Language We Feel" (Sean Reid)

On this week's Episode, Yachay is joined by Connecticut's very own Sean Reid. Since his early teens, Sean found remedy in melody, that is, music! His early influences and upbringing was the force behind his discovery for appreciation and creation of sounds.
A natural Bassist and Guitarist, Sean plays in three of Connecticut's growing and local bands: Huo, Orbiter, and The green Invaders. For more information on each band respectfully, see below!

This week's episode involves an overview of modern music as well as a deep dive into the historical and expressive nature of music appreciation as a common language. What is it about certain tunes that not only make us feel, but connect us collectively? Why do we feel the need to actively yearn for the right sounds? What power, if any, does music composition hold before us. Take a trip with this audio recording as Sean expresses the foundation for which he exists before. Make sure to check the dialogue convo at the end of this episode to further the conversation behind music theory and appreciation.

Episode 6- Breathing, Energy, & The Sanctity of your Home!

Episode 6- Breathing, Energy, & The Sanctity of your Home!

There is a "work" version of you. There is also a "home" version of you. When the work day is over and it's time to come home, do you give yourself time to adjust from one version to the other? Or are you skipping a beat here? Better put, how can something as simply as breathing, change the way you view your home?
In this week's episode, Yachay takes on a new approach to further narrate his mental and physical technique for transitioning from work life to home life. The conversation goes further into how this self-care practice can influence your perception and the notion behind the protection of your own home.

Discussed in this episode, Yachay adopted a guided breathwork practice from @breathewithsandy. While backpacking around the globe, Sandy takes on the likes of Wim Hof techniques to offer visual and audio content in the open, guiding viewers and listeners to a meditative/natural DMT/ body high through breathing. His content has provided a wide audience with natural remedies for calming, nervousness/anxiety control, and meditative awareness.

Episode 4- "Awake"- Sleep Paralysis, Lucid Dreaming, & Interpretations

Episode 4- "Awake"- Sleep Paralysis, Lucid Dreaming, & Interpretations

If what we experience before us; what sounds we hear, what images we see, the scents we smell, the sensations on our skin, are all a reflective composure of what our subconscious mind perceives, how can we be so sure of our reality? How can we differentiate our true perception, and what really exists? What for that matter, are our dreams? On this week's episode, Yachay visits one of human biology's oldest common denominators; the dreamworld. With an in-depth discussion and recollection of a personal interpretation, Yachay shares his notes on sleep paralysis, lucid dreaming, and the idea of interpretations as such.
