    • Maintaining Connections in the Digital AgeMake daily efforts to reach out to 3-5 friends, enriching our lives and learning from each other's strategies.

It's important to make an effort to maintain and strengthen our connections with friends and family, especially in today's digital age where communication can often feel impersonal. Kate Cochran from the Volley network shared her experience of feeling connected yet disconnected at the same time, emphasizing the need to reach out to those friends who have drifted out of our immediate circle. She encouraged listeners to make a list of 3 to 5 people to contact daily, and emphasized the importance of this practice for those who live alone or have chronic illnesses. During a recent Everyday Positivity Hangout, a listener named Rebecca shared her strategy of "feeding the connections," which resonated with Kate. By making a conscious effort to maintain these relationships, we not only enrich our own lives but also learn from each other's strategies. The next hangout is scheduled for January 22nd, so mark your calendars and join the community to share and learn together.
