    Surviving or Thriving The Holidays#?!
Join host, Barbara Palmer, and her guest, Destiny J. Bibbs, as they discuss some of the keys to enjoying the holidays and what contributes to us just tolerating the season and struggling to get through any holiday season with a smile on our face, regardless of what may be going on inside our hearts and minds...and bodies. Destiny is a health and wellness professional who discovered early in her life that she enjoyed giving back to her community, in Birmingham, Alabama, where she was born and raised. She has a bachelor of science degree in Public Health from The University of Alabama at Birmingham and a health and wellness coach, certified by the National Board of Health and Wellness Coaches. Setting SMART health and wellness goals is a passion for Destiny. Goal setting has not always come easy to her, but through her certification training as a health and wellness coach, she learned what setting SMART goals meant and she is committed to helping others start small in making lasting health changes too. An example of a SMART goal she has challenged herself to, is doing 5 squats after every bathroom use at home, within 6 months, others were able to tell a difference in the toning of her legs and changes in her body. Taking care of your whole self is important to Destiny, and she sets and achieves small goals to give back to herself in the same way she loves to gives back to others. This podcast episode is all about being honest about where you are and making one simple change that makes life better for you at the holidays and beyond.
