    enSeptember 17, 2021

    Podcast Summary

    • Prioritizing small daily habits for improved well-beingTaking a morning walk, seeking professional help for weight loss, and investing in quality furniture can significantly enhance overall well-being. Prioritize daily habits that bring joy and positivity.

Prioritizing small daily habits, like taking a morning walk or seeking professional help for weight loss, can significantly improve overall well-being. PlushCare, a telehealth provider, offers weight loss solutions with FDA-approved medications and accepts most insurance plans. Meanwhile, Burrow Furniture focuses on customer satisfaction by providing durable and customizable seating with fast free shipping. Libby D'Elanna, author of "Do Walk," shares her inspiring journey of making time for daily walks, which led to improved mental and emotional health. By prioritizing outdoor activities and committing to a daily walk, regardless of the weather or company, Libby discovered the benefits of connecting with nature and herself. As we head into the weekend, consider adopting small daily habits that bring joy and positivity to your life. Whether it's taking a morning walk, seeking professional help for weight loss, or investing in quality furniture, prioritizing these habits can lead to significant improvements in overall well-being.

    • Daily walking practice for physical and mental healthWalking daily, regardless of length or pace, improves physical health and acts as mindful meditation for mental well-being, leading to creativity, emotional release, and social connection.

Making a simple commitment to a daily walking practice, no matter the length or pace, can have profound impacts on both physical and mental health. This practice, which can be seen as a form of mindful meditation, has the potential to transform one's life, providing creative inspiration, emotional release, and social connection. Walking alone can offer a powerful silence for introspection, while walking with others can bring joy and mental well-being. Over time, this seemingly simple practice can lead to remarkable achievements, such as walking the circumference of the earth. Ultimately, the importance of this practice lies in its ability to nourish the heart, mind, and spirit, making it an essential part of a healthy and fulfilling lifestyle.

    • Quieting the mind and tuning into the body for deeper self-awarenessQuieting the mind and focusing on the body during familiar routines, like walks, can increase mindfulness, creativity, and self-awareness.

Taking time to quiet the mind and tune in to the body's signals can lead to increased mindfulness and deeper self-awareness. This can be achieved through familiar routines, such as daily walks, where the body is on autopilot, allowing the mind to focus on creative thoughts or an empty mind. Even simple actions, like closing your eyes for a few steps during a walk, can help deepen this internal focus. By prioritizing this practice, individuals can access valuable insights and gain a better understanding of their thoughts and emotions. This mindfulness practice is not always easy, but the benefits can be profound. A study from Stanford University even showed that closing your eyes and taking a few steps can significantly increase internal focus and creativity.

    • Walking outside boosts creativityWalking outside can inspire new ideas and insights through change of scenery and engagement of senses

Taking a walk outside can significantly boost creativity and problem-solving abilities. According to research, being outdoors, as opposed to walking on a treadmill indoors, is key. The change of scenery and engagement of the senses can lead to new ideas and insights. As an ad director, I can personally attest to this, having led team walks to brainstorm and solve creative challenges. Walking can provide visual inspiration, such as a colorful farm scene that helped unlock a question about a client's color palette. It can also offer auditory inspiration, like the sound of train tracks that a composer used to create music. During the pandemic, silence was particularly beneficial for walking, but music or podcasts can also be helpful in different ways. Overall, incorporating regular walks into your routine can be a powerful tool for innovation and creativity.

    • Making the Most of Your Morning WalksSet an intention for your morning walk to enhance mental clarity, creative inspiration, and overall well-being, regardless of weather conditions.

Our morning walks can be intentional and transformative experiences, depending on what we need in that moment. Whether it's finding silence, listening to music, or observing our surroundings, these walks can serve as powerful tools for mental clarity, creative inspiration, and overall well-being. The intention we set before stepping out the door can guide us in making the most of our walk, whether it's for stress relief, problem-solving, or simply appreciating the beauty around us. Even on less than ideal weather days, there is always something wonderful to be found in the experience. So next time you go for a morning walk, consider setting an intention and allowing the experience to nourish your mind, body, and soul.

    • Embracing Gratitude and Mindfulness During WalksMindfully walking with gratitude leaves us feeling present and connected to nature. Try 'feet on the ground, eyes to the sky' to fully embrace the moment.

The importance of mindfulness and gratitude during walks, as shared by author Libby loss. Loss emphasized that every walk she's taken has left her feeling grateful, and she encouraged listeners to adopt the intention of "feet on the ground, eyes to the sky" to fully embrace the present moment. Additionally, she recommended her book, "Do Walk," and shared that her Instagram handle is @parkhere and her website is thismorningwalk.com, where listeners can access her Spotify playlists. The conversation also touched on shopping for unique engagement rings at BluNile.com and celebrating Mother's Day at Whole Foods Market. However, a concern was raised about the safety and effectiveness of a specific HRT gel, estradose, which is a cheaper parallel import of estrogen made by Bessins Healthcare. The exact cause of any potential differences between estradose and the more expensive version, estragel, remains unclear.

    • Reports of Ineffective Estradose Gel for Menopausal SymptomsDespite distribution, over 100 women report ineffectiveness of estradose gel for menopausal symptoms. Manufacturer investigating, but no resolution or recall. Potential denial of protective estrogen benefits against health disorders.

There have been reports from over 100 women about the ineffectiveness of the estradose gel for combating menopausal symptoms, despite it being distributed for cheaper European distribution. The cause of this issue is unknown, but it has been reported extensively on social media and the free yellow card app to the MHRA. The manufacturer, Bessens, has been investigating, but there has been no resolution or product recall. This is concerning because the gel not only fails to alleviate symptoms but also potentially denies women the protective benefits of estrogen against health disorders like heart disease and osteoporosis. If you suspect you're using an estradose gel that doesn't work, check the websites lazarwell-being.com or menopause doctor.co.uk, where you can learn more and report any symptoms or lack of efficacy on the free yellow card app. Women deserve access to effective HRT, and it's crucial to share this information to help others. For more information, follow Dr. Zoe Hodson on Instagram and check out the Manchester Menopause Hive.

    • Listeners share transformational results from Lazar Well-being platformThe Lazar Well-being platform provides valuable information for those dealing with digestive issues and menopause, leading to improved health and happiness for many listeners.

The Lazar Well-being platform, including Instagram and YouTube, offers valuable information for those experiencing digestive issues and going through menopause. Nicola, a listener, shared her experience of transformational results after trying kefir for digestive issues, and expressed gratitude for the clear and detailed information on HRT that she found on the platform after her surgical menopause. Another listener, Kristen, shared how the platform changed her life by introducing her to body identical hormones, leading to the alleviation of her menopause symptoms and improved overall well-being. These stories illustrate the impact of the Lazar Well-being platform on individuals' health and happiness. Additionally, it's important to note that creating and producing high-quality podcast content is a costly and time-consuming process. While ads can be annoying, they help support the creation of valuable content for listeners.

    • Monetizing a podcast and considering supplementsPodcasts require a team and can be monetized through ads or subscriptions. Supplements, believed to support health, are a personal preference.

Producing a podcast involves a team of people who need to be paid, and the podcast can be monetized through ads or a subscription model. The speaker personally prefers to keep the podcast free and uses ads to cover costs. Regarding supplements mentioned on the podcast, the speaker does take most of them and genuinely believes in their benefits. As we age, our bodies may require more nutrients, and certain supplements can help support overall health and well-being. The speaker encourages listeners to check out the full-length episode featuring Ollie Hunter, a sustainable chef, for tips on eating well.

    • Exploring various podcast topics from foodie recipes to cat health monitoring and flexible insurance plansFrom food waste reduction to cat health monitoring and flexible short term insurance plans, podcasts offer valuable insights and practical tips. Consider trying out Pretty Litter for cat health monitoring and Boll and Branch for soft sheets, and don't forget to rate and review your favorite podcasts to support the creators.

There are various interesting and useful topics being discussed in different podcasts, such as foodie recipes, reducing food waste, and even early signs of cat illness detection through health monitoring litter. Another takeaway is the importance of soft, comfortable bedding, like Boll and Branch's organic cotton sheets that get softer with every wash. Lastly, it's worth noting that short term health insurance plans, like those offered by UnitedHealth Care, can provide flexible and budget-friendly coverage for people in transition or starting a new business. Remember to check out Pretty Litter for cat health monitoring and Boll and Branch for soft sheets, and consider rating and reviewing the podcast to help spread the word.
