Please enjoy nearly two hours of my headlining set from the Electric Cowboy party at the world-renowned Belly Up Aspen for Aspen Gay Ski Week 2k24. I had a blast playing the Thursday night main event this year, sponsored by my friends at VISIT DALLAS. It's always an honor DJing this weekend, which raises money for AspenOut, a 501(c)3 non-profit that provides support and services to the diverse LGBTQ+ population of the Roaring Fork Valley.

Hello friends… just before a long holiday weekend in the U.S., I wanted to share my latest house music podcast. This one’s a two-hour journey from start to finish – it warms you up slowly, it takes you to the disco, it gets a bit funky, it builds energy, and then it gently brings you back down again. It’s been a full year since I put out a proper (pre-recorded) podcast (not a live set) — sometimes the process of making these can be taxing and frustrating… I needed a break from putting out podcasts semi-regularly. But I’m feeling inspired to get back to making them now, so this fall my music output is about to get bigger and louder than ever!

It’s also been a while since I’ve put out a Big Room podcast and I was ready to create something along the lines of what you’re listening to right now. You’ll hear that my #PugLife sound has changed quite a bit. It’s much more tech-house-centric and more influenced by the DJ/producers I listen to these days. However, as always, you’ll hear a few of my remixes sprinkled throughout, including Stephen Jusko and I’s tech house take on François Sagat’s new single “I Don't Want To Break Your Heart, “Love Lift Me Up” (our summer collab with Debby Holiday), as well as our new remix of Chappell Roan’s “Pink Pony Club.”

I have some exciting stuff on the horizon this fall… so keep your eye on this space! I’ll also have “House Is A Feeling” Vol. 13 coming out soon!

Part 2 of my Sunday Daddy Disco set from BUNKER In Washington DC (Aug. 6th, 2k23)... this was honestly a very difficult set for me to play. It followed a celebration of life for a person who was a member of the BUNKER family; he was a new friend in my life... and someone whose wedding I had played just one year earlier. The doors opened to the public at 9 p.m. when many of his closest friends and loved ones were still gathered. It was very difficult for me to find a balance between getting the party going and thinking about trying to honor his memory. I ended the set on a special somewhat somber note, in tribute to him. I'd like to send special love and appreciation through this set to all of my incredible DC family.
