    This episode is here to remind you that everyone's life is different and life is not a structured well thought out plan that you HAVE to follow in a certain sequence.

    This episode will help you realise you should be grateful and proud of exactly where you are and wherever you're heading is the right path for you

    The C word

    The C word

    No not that one, I meant cancer.
    We receive the letters in the mail 'you're due for a pap smear' and we see the information for self-check breast exams at home, but are we really doing anything to take pre-cautions.

    I'm joined today but Mardi Mandersloot who is an ambassador for the Pink Hope Foundation. She tells her courageous story of how she chose to remove her breasts to avoid breast cancer. She shares not only the mentality behind having to make that decision but also the difficult events and thoughts that took place after the surgery.

    We wanted to share today's topic with you to not only raise awareness and share resources, but to hopefully spark you to take action in looking after yourself and your loved ones. We encourage you to talk about it and talk about it often.

    Millennial beauty standards

    Millennial beauty standards

    Remember when we only had magazines and no social media? But remember back in the 90's when it was normal to have the front cover as a celebrity at the beach in their bikini pointing out their cellulite?

    In today's episode I explore the differences between 2022 and growing up in the 90's;

    • the body positivity movement and where it all began
    • body acceptance and self love
    • paparazzi and journalism- their minds behind the cruel things they wrote
    • The mindset and mental health of celebrities after being critiqued and put on a pedestal
    • And MORE!
