    • Embracing Social Media for Brand Building and Consumer EngagementBrands must adapt to social media for audience engagement and cultural relevance, as traditional advertising methods become less effective. Embrace creativity and innovation to stay ahead in the digital age.

Social media has become the new frontier for brand building and consumer engagement. Traditional advertising methods, such as TV commercials, are no longer the primary drivers of brand recognition and growth. Instead, brands need to adapt and embrace the digital age by engaging with their audience on social media platforms and staying culturally relevant. The recent trends in Bitcoin, sports cards, Wall Street, Discord, and Clubhouse are evidence of this shift. Brands that fail to adapt risk being left behind. The Internet and social discourse have disrupted the old media playbook, requiring a new approach to creativity and marketing. As Gary Vee emphasizes, "Don Draper is dead," and it's time for organizations to embrace the "and game" creatively, rather than relying on outdated "or game" strategies. The world is changing, and those who can adapt and innovate will thrive.

    • Shifting marketing focus to attention, business sense, and creativityBrands must prioritize relevance, cultural sensitivity, speed, empathy, influencer value, and quality to succeed in today's marketing landscape.

In today's marketing landscape, brands like Stella Artois need to be relevant and accessible to as many people as possible, regardless of their perceived premium status. This requires a shift back to the basics of marketing: attention, business sense, and creativity. Brands must also prioritize cultural relevance, speed, and empathy over apathy. Furthermore, the value of influencers and the importance of quality versus quantity are crucial considerations. Brands should strive for both, recognizing that quality is subjective while quantity is not. Ultimately, it's essential to break free from corporate and marketing industry norms and adapt to the changing consumer landscape. Brands that do this successfully will thrive, while those that cling to outdated practices risk being left behind.

    • Success comes from a balance of quantity and qualityStrive for both hard work and excellence to leave a positive impact on the world and consider one's 'humanity footprint'

Both quantity and quality are essential in achieving success and leaving a positive impact on the world. The speaker emphasizes that it's not a question of quantity over quality but rather having the ability to excel in both areas. Quality is subjective and depends on the market, while quantity is a measurable aspect. The speaker encourages everyone to strive for both, as one cannot exist without the other. He also emphasizes the importance of considering one's "humanity footprint" and making a positive impact on humanity through one's actions. The speaker's words resonated with a listener from Venezuela, inspiring him to take action and leave a legacy. Overall, the message is that success comes from a combination of hard work (quantity) and excellence (quality).

    • Balancing a 9 to 5 job and a side businessEffective time management and work ethic enable individuals to balance a stable job and a side business. Personal goals and ambition should guide the decision to pursue multiple income streams or focus on one.

Both working a traditional 9 to 5 job and running a side business, such as drop shipping, can be achievable with proper time management and work ethic. Some people may prefer the stability and fruits of a higher salary, while others may be hungry for more and be willing to put in the extra hours to pursue multiple income streams. It's essential to consider your personal goals, ambition, and work ethic before deciding to do both or focusing on one path. Additionally, taking risks in your thirties, especially in terms of starting a business, can be beneficial, as it allows you to taste both options and make an informed decision.

    • Never too late to pursue goalsRegardless of age or circumstances, it's never too late to take risks and pursue your goals. Focus on making progress and not looking back, and don't limit yourself to one permanent choice. Combine creativity and business acumen for unique opportunities.

It's never too late to take risks and pursue your goals, regardless of your age or current circumstances. The speaker shares his own experiences of feeling stuck and judging himself in his twenties, but encourages not to waste time on self-criticism. Instead, focus on making progress and not looking back. He also emphasizes that people don't have to make permanent choices and can explore different paths in life. The speaker encourages going all in on a choice right now, but also acknowledges that it may not be a forever decision. He believes that combining creativity and business acumen can lead to unique opportunities and success. Ultimately, the message is to not be passive and to keep moving forward towards your goals.

    • Learning from Educational Podcasts: A Crash Course on NFTsListening to educational podcasts can provide clarity on complex topics like NFTs, and leaving reviews and subscribing supports creators and ensures access to valuable info.

Listening to educational podcasts, like the one discussed in this episode, can significantly enhance your understanding of complex topics, such as NFTs. The review from My Chemical CBD emphasizes this point, expressing newfound clarity on the subject after listening to the episode. The importance of leaving reviews and subscribing to podcasts was also emphasized, as it helps support the creators and ensures that you don't miss out on valuable information. The Most Important Question In Business

The Most Important Question In Business

Here’s the problem most people run into when they create content online: They think they have to have something to say. So many of you aren’t putting out content online because you think you need to have the perfect message, or something “valuable” to share (based on your own arbitrary opinion). And what I’m telling you is, you will get more business if you put out literally anything. If you’re an auto dealer, you could put out a 5 min video every afternoon just recapping what happened in your day. If you’re a real estate agent, you could post updates on what your opinions are about the Super Bowl teams. Get on social media and tell your truth … it’s really that simple.

5 Core Pieces of Value to Get You to Succeed

5 Core Pieces of Value to Get You to Succeed

There are so many people racing to earn more money than they can even spend even if they have to sacrifice their happiness and livelihood to do so. The really disturbing part about this is that most of these people only want the money so they can be flashy and show off their overly expensive cars (that they don't even want) and other dumb things to other people. Happiness needs to be the Northstar that we strive towards. If we aren't aiming to be happy, then is it really worth having more money than you can spend and more cars than you can drive? —

#336: How to Get Exactly What You Want From Your Business

#336: How to Get Exactly What You Want From Your Business

    OVERVIEW:

To have it, you have to want it.

Jason A. Duprat, MBA, CRNA, Healthcare Practitioner, and Host of the Healthcare Boss Academy podcast, discusses defining your goal and achieving it. Jason teaches us how to block our time each day and identify if what we do each day is aligned with our goals. If you feel like you’re falling short of what you want, tune into this episode.

    EPISODE HIGHLIGHTS:

    • If you have big goals but haven't met those goals yet, Jason challenges you to do things differently.
    • The overwhelming majority of successful people are not any smarter than the average person. However, they manage their time way better than the average person.
    • One of the things that Thomas Jefferson did was manage his time into blocks. Jason recommends starting out by blocking your 24 hours a day to 4 hours each, leaving you with 6 chunks of 4-hour time blocks. 2 chunks (8 hours) are usually dedicated for sleep, leaving you with 4 chunks (16 hours).
    • You have to make some extra sacrifices because you have less time in the day to build what you need to build.
    • What separates high-level entrepreneurs from others is their ability to utilize their time to generate value better than the average person.
    • Redefine your goals based on what you're willing to give up and sacrifice.
    • If you want to be in the 1%, you have to do what the 1% does. There's nothing wrong with not striving to be part of the 1%. The idea is to understand exactly what you want and set your priorities accordingly.

    TWEETABLE QUOTES:

"If you spend your time doing something else, it means you valued that more than your goal. In other words, you didn't want your goal bad enough." – Jason A. Duprat

"You need to give up the things that need to be given up to get the results you're looking for." – Jason A. Duprat
