If you're struggling to get motivated or feeling down, start with small steps like going for a short walk or listening to a podcast to help shift your mindset. And if you're experiencing unusual symptoms, it's always a good idea to get them checked out by a healthcare professional, even if you've self-diagnosed online. In the case of the listener, her fear of having left a tampon inside led her to feel a lump, but it turned out to be just her cervix. Remember, it's important to trust the expertise of medical professionals and not rely solely on self-diagnosis.

    • Blurred lines between personal and professional lifeClear communication and contract terms are crucial to prevent blurred lines between personal and professional life, especially for public figures on social media. Speaking out on political matters can have serious consequences.

      The line between personal and professional life can become blurred, especially when it comes to public figures and their social media activity. The recent situation with Gary Lineker highlights this, as he was suspended from his role as Match of the Day host due to a tweet criticizing the government's immigration policy. The ambiguity of his contract led to a heated debate about the impartiality of broadcasters and the freedom of expression for freelancers. The incident resulted in a lack of presenters for the football coverage and public outcry, with many arguing for Lineker's reinstatement. The incident underscores the importance of clear communication and contract terms, as well as the potential consequences of speaking out on political matters in a public sphere.

    • BBC controversy over Gary Lineker's free speechThe BBC-Lineker controversy showcased the tension between free speech and contractual obligations in media, with some arguing for professional restraint and others advocating for open expression.

      The issue of free speech versus contractual obligations in the media industry was at the forefront of a recent controversy involving Gary Lineker and his decision to walk out of a BBC presentation. Several footballers, including Alan Shearer, Ian Wright, and Alex Scott, joined him in solidarity. The presentation was canceled due to ambiguity around Lineker's ability to express his opinion, leading to a debate about the boundaries of impartiality and cancel culture. Some argued that as a BBC contractor, Lineker should have adhered to the rules, while others sympathized with his frustration over being silenced. The incident also brought up questions about double standards, as some figures, like Alan Sugar, are allowed to tweet provocatively without consequence. Ultimately, the controversy highlighted the ongoing tension between the desire for open expression and the need for professional restraint in the media industry.

    • Gary Lineker's Contract Controversy: Freedom of Speech vs. Corporate ObligationsThe Gary Lineker controversy at the BBC ignited a debate about the balance between individual freedom of speech and corporate obligations, with some praising his stance and others viewing it as a breach of contract.

Additionally, there was a discussion about the recent news regarding Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's children, Archie and Lilibet, and their new titles as prince and princess. The speaker questioned why the Sussexes would want their children to have these titles, as they had previously stated their intention to step back from royal life. Overall, the conversation touched on themes of censorship, freedom of expression, and the complexities of modern royalty.

    • Meghan and Harry's complicated relationship with the royal familyDespite criticizing the royal family, Meghan and Harry want their children to have royal titles and attend events like the coronation, creating an awkward situation with potential negative media attention and backlash.

      The relationship between Meghan and Harry with the British royal family continues to be complex and confusing. They have publicly criticized the institution but still want their children to have royal titles and attend events like the coronation. This creates an awkward situation, as they risk negative media attention and potential backlash from the public and the royal family. The decision of whether they will attend the coronation remains uncertain, adding to the ongoing drama surrounding their departure from the royal family. It's a paradoxical situation where they hate the institution yet want to be a part of it for their children. The birthright argument is valid, but it's interesting that they chose to give their children royal titles despite their criticisms. The situation raises questions about their motivations and intentions towards the royal family.

Another theme that emerged was the importance of community and connection, as evidenced by the speakers' shout-outs to their friends and the supportive and accepting atmosphere of the podcast. Overall, the conversation highlighted the importance of accepting and appreciating the diversity of human experiences and the power of shared connections.

    • The importance of disconnecting from technologyDisconnecting from technology, even for a short time, can boost mental and physical well-being. Prioritize digital breaks, avoid blue light, and communicate through emails or voice messages instead of phone calls.

The speaker, Lou, shared her personal experiences of eating eggshells and raw pasta as a child, emphasizing the importance of being present and mindful in the moment. She encouraged listeners to turn off their roaming, put down their phones, and take digital breaks to avoid the negative effects of blue light and constant connectivity. Lou also mentioned the benefits of sending emails or voice messages through email or WhatsApp instead of picking up the phone. She reminded listeners to subscribe to their podcast, attend their live shows, and spread the word to others. Overall, the message was to prioritize disconnecting from technology to improve overall well-being and productivity.

    Bienvenue sur la Radio Circulab (ex Activer l'Economie Circulaire)

    En pleine crise sanitaire, la question se pose : quelle place pour l'usage unique dans notre économie ?

    Après 20 ans d'expérience dans le secteur de l'emballage, c'est son histoire personnelle qui pousse Emmanuel Auberger à fonder Uzaje (ex Solzero) entreprise de l'économie sociale et solidaire spécialisée dans le réemploi des emballages à échelle industrielle.

    Cette création est partie de trois constats :

    • Les conséquences sanitaires et environnementales du plastique à usage unique ;
    • La place prépondérante des déchets d'emballage dans nos poubelles, nos rues et nos océans ;
    • Le peu de place accordé à la réutilisation dans les dynamiques et projets d'économie circulaire, au profit de la réduction et du recyclage.

    En 2019, Emmanuel décide de s'insérer dans ce contexte pour apporter aux acteurs économiques de la restauration hors domicile une solution pour inscrire leurs modèles dans une économie circulaire. Il fonde Uzaje qui construit et opère des centres de lavages qui vont permettre le réemploi des emballages, à échelle industrielle.

    Bien que la valeur première de Uzaje soit de proposer des solutions à grande échelle pour le réemploi des contenants, l'entreprise accompagne ses clients sur toute la chaîne et les étapes de conception, pour assurer qu'il ne manque aucune brique et que l'évolution soit la plus facile et impactante possible. Uzaje propose donc également d'accompagner ses clients sur le bon choix des contenants, sur l'optimisation des taux de retours ou la conception d'une expérience utilisateur efficace.

    C'est ainsi que des premières expérimentations voient le jour dans la restauration commerciale avec des distributeurs qui souhaitent s'engager, ou auprès de la restauration collective, notamment dans le cadre de la loi EGALIM.

    En plus de s'insérer dans un contexte légal favorable (lois AGEC et EGALIM), Uzaje permet de répondre à l'évolution des utilisations en cours, mais également à venir.

    Un podcast qui redonne sa place à l'usager et nous inspire quant à l'évolution en cours des pratiques et à la nécessaire transition des filières, pour sortir du plastique à usage unique, même en temps de crise.

    Merci Emmanuel pour ta lucidité.
